During my senior year there were about 8 guys in my good group of friends. We always had competitions for what we called "Championship Belts". For instance, whoever was the reigning champ in foosball owned the belt. Or the champ in Madden. We even had a belt for sharpshooting with various types of NERF guns. There was a list of about 10 things we had "Championship Belts" for and all the owners were listed on a huge dry erase board wich hung behind our tv. Now about once every other month we would have a night in wich every one, or team, must defend their each championship belt to any other teams who want to challenge. Now these would always turn into all nighters. To win a belt it was always best of 7 series wich can get pretty long if you start playing certain games. So we would all get together drink and stay up all night while all of these challenges were going on. Things would usually wrap up around 6 am when we would all go to the REC center because the final championship belt was always time trials going down the huge tube water slide in our pool. After that belt was awarded to a new winner we woudl usually play some full court basketball untill we could barely run, then go to McDonalds for breakfast. After this we would all naturally sleep all day untill about 8 pm and skip all of our classes. God college was great. |

I stayed in a deepstack MTT 7 hours longer than I had anticipated, which took me through the night. |

Once I put aside all of the all-nighters that are substance abuse related, all I'm left with are work or female companionship stories. She was just a corporal in the army, but boy could she make me salute...

All my friends always talked about doing all-nighters when i was in school, but I never did. If I had lots of school work I would usually stay up late (e.g. 2-3 a.m.) but then take at least a 4 hour nap and crank out the rest. At some point I get to point where it's just not worth it to stay up anymore.

Ive pulled many many all nighters... recently Ive been doing them to get back o ntrack. Like Ill live on 30 hour days, 18 hours awake, 12 hours asleep, so Ill constantly be waking up at different times, and its very disoreienting. So the easy way to fix this is if Im waking up at 4pm, then just stay up til 9pm the next day, then go to sleep, and Ill wake up at like 8 or 9am.

does it count if your sleep schedule has you going to bed at 8 AM regularly?

Silly americans.... An allnighter is where you stay up all night and then start the next day as usual. You miss a whole night of sleep. Its not one of these half-assed colonial attempts where you go to sleep at 8am and sleep all day

I routinely sleep 3-4 hours a night 2-3 times a week, since I work a day job and play music gigs at night. Not all nighters I know, but it feels like all nighters sometimes, especially at my age! lol.......

I will be awake all night to study atmospheric chemistry. Then I will go to UBC to take my 9 am atmospheric chemistry exam. I am so sick of atmospheric chemistry. I wish I had studied this shit earlier. I am so dead.

We have a great breakfast place that opens at 5:00 am and a bar ne3xt door that opens at 6:00 am. I always thought it would be fun to pull an all-nighter drinking and finish it up with breakfast and open the bar.
