    Default Stepping out of retirement

It started sometime in September / October. Someone bet my $500 that I couldn't run $100 into $1000 in 31 days. After running well, I hit that mark in around 20 days. No big deal, I will cash it out and donk around in some MTT's. First day of donking I win a $10+1 6max for a couple thousand and I am once again hooked.

I am a bit rusty but I have been playing quite a but in the last month or so with decent results. I am going to concentrate on 50NL 6max and MTT's $10's less. If things go well from now till the end of the year I may drop some real money online and starting play $200NL or $50 and less MTT's.

I have a prop bet for December with Mike4066. $100 for 100 hours. Whoever doesn't clear 100 hours owes the other $100 bucks. Since we both work full time chaotic jobs it will be interesting.

I guess the main reason for starting this operation is to keep me accountable. I'm really not worried about the results. I'm just worried about putting the time in.

    Thanks everyone for the support!

First day in I elected to play some MTT's but just a few. I've also got a certain theory as well. There has always been an argument about how playing lots of tables decreases your ability to improve as a poker a player. I think its more person to person, but I know that I fall into that category. So I am going to switch it up between volume, quality. We do the same thing when we train in the gym for sports so why wouldn't it work for poker?

Last night I played 5 MTT's on centrated a lot of playing the table dynamics and just tried to bring my A game. I made the money in 2 of them, bubbled a FT and got knocked out in 125th out of 1560.

I really can't complain too much with the results. I did get knocked out of one tournament on an iffy hand. I flat AQs on the button against a spewy monkey and went broke on the turn after a Q high flop and a blank turn. Turns out spew monkeys get KK from time to time too

Played 4 solid hours yesterday at 50NL 6max and made 4 buyins. I also spent another 1-2 hours going through my PT3 database. I guess I should start posting some hands here too. I will post some from the next session I play.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

Thanks! I took the night off last night to spend some time with the wifey. Tonight I should be able to get a solid 3-4 hours.
