Default Operation: Buy me a car

I miss FTR. I havent been postiing, since I cant surf at work. I dont surf at home to much because Im either playing poker, or lately playing World of Warcraft. FWIW, that game could be very bad for one's poker career.

Anyway, it is time for steve to join the ranks of FTR monkeys doing operations. Why, you ask?
    1. Goals will help me stay focused on putting in the hands
    2. My 1990 Geo Storm has 221,000 miles and its gotta go!! I am leaning toward a "semi-luxury" sedan of some type, but I'll figure that out soon enough.
These two needs seem to line up quite nicely.

    Goals:
    1. $10,000 in profit from the online tables between May 1st and August 31. This is only online, and does not include any bonus money. Poker profit will go toward the car, bonus money will stay in the bankroll to fatten it up.

    2. Consistantly beat the Party 2/4 game at >2BB/100, by the end of August. Why am I not already doing that? Because Im a dumbass. I keep bouncing back and forth between .50/1 and 2/4. I will finish out this month playing strictly 1/2 (except for GamesGrid), and start playing strictly 2/4 next month.

    Some milestones to shoot for:
    May - $2000
    June - $2500
    July - $2500
    August - $3000

Today is day 13 of 122, and I am +$800 so far, and looking good for the May milestone. I will try to post updates on here every day or two.

BB bets, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, MP2 calls, Hero caps, BB calls, MP2 calls.

    Final Pot: 42.54 BB

A rough start to the week.

Yesterday (Monday) I get home from work, logged into gamesgrid, and found ZERO $2/$4 tables going, so I jumped into a $3/$6 game. This game was again BRUTAL, I only played 25 hands, but I ran KK into AA, ouch. Fortunately I slowed down on the turn. 5 hands later, I flopped a set with KK and again ran into AA which also flopped a set. This one hurt alot more, emotionally and financially. I quit that talbe, -$57, because a 2/4 table had just gotten started. While playing the 2/4 table, I 4 tabled party 1/2. Nothing big happened, I quit the afternoon with 250 total hands, -$58.5 overall, and took a nap.

Woke up around 10 pm (one helluva nap) Got back on a gamesgrid 2/4 table and 4 party 1/2 tables. All I can say is wow, I had a nice run of cards. 300 1/2 hands, +$74.50. 65 2/4 hands, +$71. Fun times with morons calling me down because "I had a pair" again.

    Finished the day +$87

Today, was an entirely different story. I started with my normal setup of one gamesgrid 2/4 table, and 4 party 1/2 tables. The 2/4 went good, nothing major. The only talbe running broke after I played 25 hands, but I was +$58, so I didnt complain to much. The 1/2 games were killing me to start the night. I was down $70 at one point, two outers and gutshots were plentiful for my opponents. I managed to pull it back up to -$16.25 after 884 hands.

It seems lately that I've been doing much better after 8pm. I guess I need to play on Crypto more in the afternoons; good thing they're up next on the bonus list since I just finished the empire bonus. Im also planning on jumping ship at gamesgrid, after this weeks VFP payment is dropped in; the greedy bastards killed the 2/4 player base. I'll find other sites to whore.

    Running profit sits at $992.22

Been far to long since an update, I guess thats what happens while im plaing live games on weekends.

    Wednesday
My buddy called up saying he had tickets the midnight showing of Episode III, so I was only able to get 205 hands in, but made $98.57 at the £1/£2 tables. God, I love Crypto. The weird part, I had no straights, or full houses, and my only flush lost to higher flush, after I had flopped a set of queens.

    Thursday
Another short session, before heading out to a live game. Played 241 hands of £1/£2, finished +29.03

    Saturday
I dont play to much on weekends, because the games just seem different to me. I dont know why, but I I tend to finish down. Saturday was no different, even on Crypto. I only played 84 hands, but took some heavy beats, so decided to call it quits. -$9.65

    Sunday
Sunday night was more of the same weekend beats. This time it was at Party 2/4. I was 2-tabling for 138 hands, not much but dropped $73. I hate weekends.

I have really got to start getting in more hands.

Net profit is now at $1037.26

MMMM poker is good......exept for tonight that is

    Yesterday
I got some good time in at the Crypto game, 231 hnads for $62.91. I had a $1/2 table open from a special site (which will remain anonymous at this time), while this site is typically to gOOt to be true, I lost $9 in 50 hands. $53 a day aint cutting it. But I had to get to a live 1/2 NL game where I made $150 (doesnt count toward my car tho)

    Today
Get home from work with the sole intention of playing 2000 hands by midnight, and my computer doesnt want to boot up. 3 hours later, I have windows re-installed, get all the poker software and PT set back up. I skip Crypto, as it is past midnight in England, and head straight to party 1/2. Talk about a boring session, after 1 hour I was up $30, leveled off for the next 2 hours. The last hour was nothing but my cards whiffing on the flop, or me getting outdrawn by the big blind's Q3o. BLEH!! Finished the session after 684 hands, +$12.50

    Running total +$1103.67

Wonder if I can make $900 in a week (without the weekend too)
