I'm running through scenarios in my mind. I definitely think you're right. Villains with a reasonably wide stealing range often fail to play their medium strength hands aggressively. Interesting how the equity works out in this hand.
I suck at bluff-catching (usually 'cuz I'm nut-catching instead), but the ranges to make sense, imo. Intriguing stuff.
