4bet in the KK hand...if you ever plan on 4bet bluffing you need to have value hands in there as well...also people stack off surpisingly lightly in these spots where your ranges are already wide imo.

Yeah that does make a lot of sense I guess 0/26 tilted me which is obv wrong.

Heres one more hands with our mate long90110 11/10 (4.3k hands)

I don't really like how I played this at all felt pretty gross.

    PokerStars - $0.50 NL (9 max) - Holdem - 8 players

    MP: $64.30
    MP+1: $27.30
    CO: $50.00
    Hero (BTN): $59.60
    SB: $56.45
    BB: $88.50
    UTG: $46.75
    UTG+1: $25.20

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

    Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has 3 A

UTG calls $0.50, fold, MP calls $0.50, MP+1 calls $0.50, fold, Hero calls $0.50, fold, BB checks

His VPIP and PFR are pretty close together so when he limped along I'd assume his range is way more weighted to PP's then SC's

    Flop: ($2.75, 5 players) 7 7 6
BB checks, UTG checks, MP bets $2.00, fold, Hero calls $2.00, BB calls $2.00, fold

I think flatting flop with players behind is fine, don't want to bloat the pot or blow out the fish UTG

    Turn: ($8.75, 3 players) 5
BB checks, MP bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50, fold

I guess we could raise here ( player behind us is 15/13 (400 hands) )

Raiser's range here is pretty much all continuing doubt he has any bluff's maybe like 8d8x but that probably about it I'd say something like
    { 8c8d,8d8h,8d8s,77-66,QdJd,JdTd,Td9d,9d8d,7c6c,7h6h,7s6ss }

there aren't too many bad river cards for us apart from another D might not get us paid as easily or much and block some of his Flush combos

    River: ($19.75, 2 players) T
MP checks, Hero bets $9.50, MP raises to $56.30 and is all-in, Hero calls $42.10 and is all-in

I bet for value because in the moment I thought he could have more then 6 Flush combos, but hindsight's a bitch

    37.1% to call river

his range for check bombing is the same -8d8x
    { 77-66,QdJd,JdTd,Td9d,9d8d,7c6c,7h6h,7s6s } which we have 30% against

The main thing that tilts me this entire hand is wtf does he perceive my range to be specially if he has 9d8d I can't really have any worse flushes and I either have quads or a boat. I think just checking or calling a reasonable sized bet on the river would be 1201382x better

So yesterday I lost like 4bi's really close together and it titled me pretty hard. i quit playing almost right away being in my lame ass titled state I checked my monthly results so far... Which titled me waaayy more because I wasn't doing as well as I was expecting. I didn't want to think about poker at all after that for the rest of the day. So now today is the first day of the rest of my life... lol. I feel pretty good today, just looking over my loosing hands from yesterday now to ease or create some doubt in my game.

UTG checks, Hero bets $7.50, fold, BTN raises to $97.85 and is all-in, fold, Hero calls $46.20 and is all-in

I open larger pre because UTG+1 is a fish and will pay. I only need 41.8% to call villain seem pretty silly and capable of doing this with AK,AQ but maybe I have overvaluing my fish read.

    vs { 44-33,AQs+,A4s-A3s,AQo+ } we have 47.2% equity

    wtf is BB's range? when he 5bet jam's? KK+ ? AK, KK+? AK, QQ+?

I am really bad at playing KK vs nits and tag's can I ever take another line here? I don't see any other options

He can be floating pretty damn wide here imo

    Turn: ($12.25, 2 players) J
UTG checks, Hero bets $8.50, UTG calls $8.50

could of picked up a J or some FD equity, SD's, TT probably floats and QQ, sets and A3s

    River: ($29.25, 2 players) 2
UTG checks, Hero bets $19.50, UTG calls $19.50

The board pairing doesn't change a whole lot for us no 2's are in his range part from quads. I like we can still thinly value be to get value from AJs, KJs, QJs, QQ

Played ~40 hours so far this month so I need to average 3 hours a day the next 10 days to make it which is attainable for sure. I've almost played 20k hands as well. As for my not checking cashier i'm been failing a bit lately but I'll get back to not checking as of now.

Villain is a life loser running 26/18 over 1k hands and he calls 3bets wide IP and OOP his call 3bet is 20% (12/59) and 4bet is 2% (1/63)

fold, UTG+1 raises to $2.00, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $6.00, fold, UTG+1 calls $4.00

    Flop: ($12.50, 2 players) T A 8
    Hero checks, UTG+1 checks

I don't really know how i feel about checking here. At the time I did it because he has proven to be a bit of a spaz and we absolutely cripple the board if we weren't blocking the nut flush Ad I would almost always bet I think.

    Turn: ($12.50, 2 players) K
Hero bets $7.50, UTG+1 raises to $21.00, Hero raises to $46.85 and is all-in, UTG+1 calls $23.00 and is all-in

The king is a pretty good card for us because AK and KK and now stacking off. I think KK he would sometimes 4bet pre and AK wouldn't really check behind again the flop, he is kind retarded tho his range is probably {KK,TT,88,AKs,ATs,QJs,AKo} which we kill.

even { TT,88,ATs,QJs } we are still way ahead

anyway obv he had QJs but just curious as to what you guy think the best way to get max value out of this hand

    Haha cheers man.

Well basically I've been blowing it as of late.

Here's my ugly ass June graph

    all 50nl

    as for my goals

[ ship ] play more then 20k hands at 50nl

    [ ship ] Maintain goldstar

[ completed with minor exceptions ] Firefox can never be open during a session

[ ship ] No eating during a session (chips ect)

[ FAILED horribly ] The only things you can look at mid session are pokerstars lobby and PT3 amount of hands played no session winnings or time or graph lol

[ failed ~48 hours played ] play 70 hours this month

[ FAILED horribly ] not check cashier or graph until 30th June & try to avoid seeing sessional results

Things started out alright I was putting in lot's of volume 8 tabling not checking cashier everything was fine. About 2/3's of the way there I had a pretty bad session and I broke my rule and checked PT this tilted me so hard because I wasn't doing as well as I had thought I'd been... losing not winning ldo. Then every time a reg put me in a tough spot I'd doubt everything I've ever achieved. After tilt quitting like 3 sessions in a row I would not play for a few days come back to it feeling fresh, then the exact same thing happens... I tilt quit and take some more days off. After doing that a few more times over a 2 week period I took a solid week off and now I'm back with a stable mind. I'm gonna play 25nl until i get more confidence back to play 50nl I think I need to study and review lots more to ease the doubt.

    Anyway keep on truckin...

It would appear i seem quite busto after that last post and then giving up on blogging. Lol the opposite is actually the case. I have been solidly working on my game/grinding since my last update in here, in 2012 i made my first supernova towards the end of the year as well as finishing my film degree. Now in 2013 i have been hardcore on the grind with 100% focus on poker. Everything thing haz been going great playing 100 and 200 FR and even sitting as high as 400, I just booked a 5 figure month this Feb. hehe I thought I might jus come and bump this if anyone was wondering. I've been posting my results and vLogging over my blog i made at www.tonnamunz.com.
