You can answer it yourself. List the hands he can do this with? Hint if you say 57s, this thread will explode in anger at you.

All so very right as usual. Working through the hand after the fact like I should have while playing makes it all come together. Thanks guys for all your patients and advice!

In spite of my many leaks the heater continues. This mornings session was the first negative session in a week but only by 30bb's. Then this after noon thank god the wife had a headache and took a nap so I got another session in. Ran reasonable good and brought the daily total to a positive for 2229 hands @7.82bb/100. I'm really focusing on post flop stats after the advice here lately. I've always known that was a leak of mine.
So here is a snap shot of the last 7 days:

So like I had mentioned I have been experimenting with limping behind a bit and I've also been aggressively stealing from button and s/b when limped to me. I think I need to also pick up the aggression a bit from cutoff as well?

I really like the red line!

Good morning session. This was my biggest looser of the session. S/B is pretty much fish running 42/4 over a decent sample of 520 hands. B/B little tighter at 20/12 over 140 hands.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($12.97)
    SB ($5.72)
    BB ($5)
    UTG ($10)
    UTG+1 ($2.10)
    MP1 ($6.61)
    MP2 ($7.62)
    Hero (CO) ($5.69)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5, 5
    3 folds, MP2 bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, 1 fold, SB calls $0.18, BB calls $0.15

MP2 is pretty tight and I like his stack size so I set mine to start off.

    Flop: ($0.80) 4, 7, 10 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks

Missed it and with three others in it I'm not going to c-bet.

    Turn: ($0.80) 5 (4 players)
SB bets $0.50, BB raises to $1.20, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2.50, BB raises to $4.80 (All-In), Hero raises to $5.49 (All-In), SB calls $2.49

Instant erection and all I want is to get it all in baby! Fuck I ain't looking at stats or shit just wanna get it in!!!

    River: ($16.58) 9 (3 players, 2 all-in)

    Total pot: $16.58 | Rake: $0.82

    Results below:
SB had 7, 7 (three of a kind, sevens).
BB had 4, 4 (three of a kind, fours).
Hero had 5, 5 (three of a kind, five

    Outcome: $16.58 returned to SB

So should I have been so eager to get it in that I don't even pay attention to post flop stats at all?

pretty much never a mistake to auto-stack sets in micros when the board isn't absolute dogshit (4-flush/4-straight kinda dogshit), especially when there's cards to come where you can boat up.

set over set over set is sick, curse lee for the turn & move on. ...ideally not on auto

Looks like ur running good for a change. Just don't let it make you tilt more once you start running even or bad again.

First you're like, Holy shit I'm running like a beast
Then you're like, if I can make this much every day for a month I can be at 50NL and buy some shit.
Then you're like, down 2 BIs for the night? I'll make it back tomorrow
Then you're like, My Aces got cracked ? Twice? WTF
Then you're like, Down 4 BIs for the night? I though I was goot
Then you're like, I'm ready to quit this game

55 hand is fine. They can have all sorts of 44/JJ/45/T7/dumb in this spot

Damn when it's good it's good! These three hands took place within 2minutes and 15 seconds of each other!

1.) Now I know I may get flamed on this first hand and rightfully so I imagine. My only read is the guy has just done dumb shit and well to be honest something about the over bet and no raise pre told me he did not have an Ace or the flush.

2.) This one here I only had 6 hands on villain of which he had played every one. I had planned on playing this aggressively but when he bets out that big on the flop I thought why the hell raise he's not going no where. When he checks the turn I was going to bet but then I thought hmm lets just see what happens here. Boooom it plays out nicely!

3.) So here I'm on the button with two limpers and I really don't want to bloat the pot so I decide to just limp behind. On the flop when everybody checks I considered a psb but then thought maybe I can get a little more value out of a small weak feeling bet hoping they would all just think I was playing my position. Well fuck me that plan worked out just dandy now didn't it! Well when hollanda goes all in I figure why flip my cards up and challenge starone who will be set up perfect for an all in on the river if he'll just call this one, and again boooom!

Not two rotations later I get a car deal and have to shut my tables down. So this combined with a decent morning session makes for one hell of a win rate for the day!

    724 hands @ 56.85bb/100.

In the last 8 days I am up 19.4 bi's but the first two days of the month I dropped 15 bi's. I am concentrating on riding this out and playing well each and every hand. I know I am likely to get flamed but I've almost taken an attitude of I need to fold every hand unless something really convinces me otherwise. Now don't throw this KK hand in my face I know that was kinda crazy and my logic is not logical on that hand but I can't tell you how I knew I was good on that hand! (Go ahead tear me up!)

biggest leak at micros = calling too much, Hard to tear you up when you've decided to be less of a station
    as for the hands:

KK hand and if you have a read then you have a read. I overbet shoved JJ on JTTTA today cos i had a similar read and zeebo. Funny though, cos his turn bet makes it look like he's read the 3-button theory but obviously he hasn't...

AA. nh. Turn check is ok when you only have pot behind so don't have to stress about getting the money in.

QJs. Your rationale looks good, and you stuck to the plan. And it's nice to turn the Jack and not have to stress about stuff!

So I was grinding through a session this afternoon. Seemed like it took me awhile to find my groove. I"d try to focus and do a reasonable job but every now and then I'd slip up. I'd miss a tell or fail to notice I was involved in a pot with a weak hand against an ubber nit etc. I kept trying to push through and play my A game. I was slightly +ev but still those occasional slips kept popping up.

Then I lost a decent pot and as I replayed the hand in my head I thought holy shit how did I miss that. It was pretty obvious in hindsight but I failed to catch it at the time. So I for a lack of better terms took an inventory of my tools.

Now the obvious shit was there: computer was on, Holdem Manager was up and running as was Table Ninja and Note Caddy. I had my music playing at an appropriate level so as not to interfere so yeah all the hardware and software was accounted for.

So what else could it be? What about me? Was my shit all there and if so was it operating ideally? Well I was out a little late last night but not terribly but could have used a little more sleep. I had drank a fair amount of Tequila last night and although I wasn't hungover per say there was still a slight edge. I had eaten a decent breakfast this morning but fuck it's like 2:00pm and I haven't eaten lunch or drank any water to speak of. Now if we look at any one of these small issues individually they really don't make a huge problem. Although if we look at them as a whole then they do constitute a problem. If I am down a little from the lack of sleep say 5% and maybe a minor hangover from the Tequila say 10% there and then we take a pretty good hit from low blood sugar from not eating and combine that with being dehydrated as well those could take away another 20% easily. So obviously if I take away 35% from optimum playing conditions I have no business playing this game at this point.

So a quick trip to subway for a decent sandwich combined with good fluids and some quite time just shy of a power nap and boom back up to or at least much closer to optimum levels!

In my previous career we literally wanted every edge we could on our side. We NEVER wanted the bad guys to have any type of advantage if we could help it. We wanted to be in better shape, sharper mentally, more alert etc. Plain and simple we wanted to win EVERY TIME with no exceptions. Well why not have this same mind set when playing poker. Why think I can improve my game if I don't come into it with every advantage possible?

Just some food for thought. Now I'm feeling much better and I'm gonna grind and utilize my tools!

    posted in BC as well.

I know I don't have the proper odds to set mine and but my thought process was I really felt if I hit my set here he is very likely to pay me off. I have no plans to go any further if I don't hit.

    Flop: ($2.45, 2 players)
Dunky boy bets $1.75, Hero goes all-in $4.19, Dunky boy calls $2.44

Bam poker gods look down on me and sure enough I hit. Now with this wet of a board I say fuck it. I figure he more likely than not is something like AA, KK, QQ or AK and he's going to have to pay if he wants to catch a str8 or flush.

    Turn: ($10.83, 2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: ($10.83, 2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $10.83
Dunky boy shows a straight, Ten to Ace

    JLN03 lost $0.20
    Hero lost $5.19
    NicoPina87 lost $0.20

I think I did the right thing here other than I know a fold pre would have been best really since I didn't have enough in my stack to get the implied odds.

    2) Again hero is pretty tight based on the small 90 hand sample I have he's 10/6.

    YaroZ7 raises to $0.35, Mamay10 raises to $1.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.22, 3 folds, YaroZ7 folds, Mamay10 calls $2.17

I give him a pretty tight range something like {tt+,AQs+} which at the time I thought I was ok with but now that I stove it I see I am a slight underdog.

    Flop: ($6.86, 2 players)
    Mamay10 goes all-in $4.41, $4.41 to Hero ($4.51)?

So really the TT & JJ is about all I can eliminate from his range? I see now I'm way behind here!

Sup Harley, nice to see you on the tables now and then.

    Hand 1- Def fold pre.

Hand 2- I think calling pre would be ok but 4betting seems a little redic. TT, JJ seems unrealistic so def fold flop.

Hand 3- Well played. Yep, shit happens. Just remember we make monies from these guys.

hand 1 - fold pre, even when you're on a heater. Not even close. As played flop is standard.
hand 2 - pre is close. Flop is a fold.
hand 3 - pre good. Flop pot. Turn is closer than you think but not a fold

    Hand 1 - fold preflop/std
Hand 2 - Pre: I think calling > folding > 4betting but I could be off. AK isn't the greatest vs. big nits (yeah small sample...)
Hand 3 - Yeah I prob. bet bigger on the flop. Turn scares me more than the others. I'd think b/f (with a smaller bet too). He's 56/12 so I auto predict he'd be more passive than aggro. If you have a read then it's fine.

I agree with #1 hand that is fold pre. But, this is a good time to make a note about him. He loves his hands. Basically start calling speculate hands in position against him and playing them fast, he seems to fall in love.

Hand #2 a fold just seems crazy. You are getting 3 to 1

equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 24.328% 05.91% 18.42% 936 2917.50 { AhKh }
    Hand 1: 75.672% 57.25% 18.42% 9069 2917.50 { AA, QQ, AQs+, AQo+ }

Plus AA should be discounted and KK might be included. I don't know how anyone can fold this on the flop giving almost 3:1 odds.

ALSO: It doesn't matter if you are way behind, what matters is pot equity vs call equity.

Hypothetical question for you. You have KK and some how you 5 bet a villain, assume 100bb, without shoving and now you know 100% that he only 6 bets with AA. But you only 15bb left and the pot is 185.

That is a easy call right!?

soooo... absolute best case optimism on villain's range and he still doesn't even scrape in on the pot odds to call - hint, it's not 3:1. Discount a tiny piece of retard on villain's part and it's a clear fold?

4betting AK and folding when you hit top pair with an SPR of less than 1 is just f'n ridic

2.55 is his pot odds. my hyper conservative range is 3:1. Add in a bit of stupid and you got yourself a call.

Pot is 15.68 after your call of 4.41. @24% equity this is a 3.76 or -.65 EV mistake if that's his true range. Throw in KK, which can be this dumb, and not calling is a 1.078 mistake. Not to mention AA should be discounted. I really can't understand how you can fold this.

Also my initial range is not the absolute best possible and its close. Also, some make the argument that if he is dumb enough to flat AQs here he is also dumb enough to flat AJs.

Morning session was meh finished down 25bb's. Biggest looser of the session was unfortunate. Villain was pretty pretty loose running 27/6 with just over a 100 hands.

Yeah, bet size wouldn't matter with this guy. I've got a few hands on him and he's pretty bad. He certainly wasn't getting odds when he called the flop with a gutshot.

reads help, but these aren't necessarily coolers or beats...

hand 1 - turn is closer than you think, his range probably crushes AA, dunno, put him on a range and find out.
hand 2 - pot flop. As played I probably start thinking pot control on a turned 4-straight board, not bet/bet/raise/etc/

really easy to lose the fold button when you're on a heater...

Such a good point. I think my heater blew a fuse!

Last couple days have been -ev. Lost 4 bi's day before last and 3 yesterday. Sat back to try and figure out what I'm doing differently and I think the main thing is volume. Got into the mindset that hey if I'm crushing 4, 5, 6 tables then what the hell 10, 11, 12 must be better. Start missing shit and just pretty much auto piloting away.
So time to down shift and pull into the right lane. Check all the basics and back on track. I'll be playing 4 tables and getting back to thinking. After all that's what got this heater going so what the hell. Also I'll be doing the bulk of my play in the mornings. There is no doubt I have a much better advantage with that crowd. Not totally sure if it's the players or the fact that I am fresh in the mornings but what the hell if it's more +ev then that's when I ought to be playing.

Wow so the teeter totter of poker continues for HarleyGuy..lol

The last few days haven't been good at all. This mornings session was terribad as well but then this after noon I decided I wanted to work through some shit so I opened up Absolute Poker cuz I have some free money on there. I played a couple hundred hands and felt like I was in the groove so I switched over to PS for a short session. Ran like god. Made some really good folds as well as some good value bets and calls when I knew I was good. Here's a look at the two sessions:

Damn I hate it when you run great only to find you've barely recovered your losses from earlier. But I'll take it don't get me wrong. Oh and I sure wish I could figure out how the hell to get the times right on this fucking HEM. If anybody has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

LMAO..... I know I really am. I just check my stats etc at the end of each session. I should do like several of you have and just not look except like once a week or something.

Just made a prop bet with !luck. He seems to think I am to results oriented so here is the bet. I have to ship him $1 every time I check either the cashier or hem for result. He ships me $5 if I don't check at all for 7 days. Easy game I am up 1bi already...Oops was that results oriented?

If you make it to 10 days without looking at all, I'll ship you $10. If you look only once you get nothing. I was going to do another Grinderschool membership thingy but I think this is more important.

I agree with him. Waaay to results oriented.

Over one day you were up $7 or so. That's over a BI. Just try to win more big pots with your big hands than you lose small pots in the small hands and don't turn the small hands into big pot hands.

Set up HEM or PT with a filter to show only 5bb or greater hands so you can review hands without seeing results.

Ok so cbat told me I should listen to Eightfold path to poker enlightment by Tommy Angelo. As a matter of fact it turns out he had actually sent it to me 3 months ago today. So I will make it a point to listen to the entire series over the next couple days. I'll put it on my ipod and listen while I run in the mornings and also while I am grinding. I really need to figure out why it is I am unable to play good consistent poker and just possibly this may help. We know one thing for sure it certainly won't hurt. Thanks cbat I appreciate you help!

PTW they pitty my old ass!

Ok so I have a confession to make. I really thought it would bother me not checking my progress after each session but it has not. It actually is a relief in that I don't feel any pressure. Game feels more comfortable and fun tbh.

Had the day off yesterday and got a couple sessions in between getting shit done around the house. Really felt like I played well. I made several good lay downs and good calls as well.

    @Harley
Don't be surprised if the sessions don't go like you remember them. Some sessions when I think I was up, I was actually down. Once I thought I had a breakeven session and when I looked a few days later I was up over 2 BIs. I had won alot of small pots and never shoved or called a shove.

    @PTW
Sorry but us old guys have to stick together

No update is a good sign?

At least we don't have to hear:
"I played 800 hands and was up 3BI's before I lost 2.5 of them then came back and won one of them back before losing 2 more and then tilting and losing 5 BIs"

I really want to pay you the $10 so do not look at your stats.

    And PTW gets nothing

To funny but that totally sounds like me! It's all good just concentrating on playing good hands. When I don't feel I'm on top of it I've just bailed out and put it behind me. Played for a short time this morning on PS and really didn't feel it so I closed it down and opened up my AP account.

The AP account is totally free money I got from some random site I was on. They gave me $50 for signing up through them so I use that as my tilt game for a lack of better words. This morning I played three SnG's which I took 1st in 2 and second in the other.

Another shit happens hand or FOLD PRE? This is a total cooler but should it have just been avoided? Table is pretty new only 27 hands although I do have a little over a hundred hands on villain and he is pretty tight no he's really tight! My main purpose in posting this is I am conflicted over KQo, should this be reserved for button play only?

re KQ hand I think it's fine to open especially with reads that you wont get 3bet too much or one of the blinds is a drooler. postflop is just a cooler. the river is one of the best cards you could wish for too , before villain shows.
  59. #209
In that hand I think post flop is far more important than pre flop. You don't say what you think his range is for c/r'ing the flop is. If he's really tight like you say then it's [99/33, AdJd etc etc] almost always.

Even though you have the Kd sometimes he has a better flush already and his sets have redraws anyway. In a weird way your hand has reverse implied odds. I'd just muck and not give this nit action.

I shit you not if I played every hand I shouldn't today I'd be a very very happy man. I cannot believe how many hands like 73o & 63s etc have hit big once I lay them down. Just funny how that works. Then to top it off I get my AA in pre against TT and of course he spikes a T on the flop! Oh well that's poker baby!

Oh I am very aware of that Carroters. I was only making an observation which wouldn't normally stand out but I was only playing two tables so I was aware of everything. I was in no way worried about it just found it funny how often it was happening.

Sorry daven didn't mean to ignore you. My typical UTG and UTG+1 is, 22+, AT's+,AK,AQ, and I've really been on the fence with my KQ's both suited and not. I also really question AJ's?
So I really have questions about my range in these early positions. Not only the KQ's and AJ's but also the lower pp's. Should I be playing 22-55 in those positions? I play them strictly for set mining and I am pretty good about getting away from them if they don't hit and I won't typically call a raise if the implied odds aren't there.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I am learning to enjoy playing fewer tables. I had gotten myself in to the multi-table mode telling myself the game is way to boring for me to play less than 6 tables and I would typically talk myself into 8-12 and very often even more. I've been focusing on each hand more and today I found myself questioning why I was at each table. I never had more than 4 tables open and if after a few orbits I hadn't identified the purpose of being there then I would move on. I know this isn't new for any of you who are successful but it was like an Ah Ha moment for me. This morning session probably had about the best feel that I've had in a very long time. It wasn't one of those "Holly shit I'm running like god!" but more "Holly shit I think I may really be playing good poker with a purpose!" moments.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm really curious about a hand I played today. I have been concerned with the fact that I loose big pots and win small pots and I think the number one reason for this is running off worse hands by betting when only better hands call.

Villain was pretty spewy when he's in a hand and his stats were something like 35/15'ish. Now I am going from memory because I can't refer to the replayer in HEM because well I DON'T CHECK HEM cuz I'm not results oriented.(and I want !luck and sasquach's moniez)

    BTN maier39 ($5.39)
    SB acymet ($4.09)
    BB mikos ($12.50)

    Pre-Flop: ($0.07, 7 players) Hero is UTG+1
    AStriker82 raises to $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, 1 fold, Gerapv calls $0.20, 3 folds

I call here because I'd like to get into a pot with AStriker. I thought about raising but then thought better of it since I'm really playing this for either flush's, str8's etc.

    Flop: ($0.67, 3 players)
AStriker82 checks, Hero checks, Gerapv bets $0.20, AStriker82 folds, Hero calls $0.20

So when the A comes I find myself thinking "Ok what does this mean for me? Well it could just get me in trouble because I really don't like tp poor kicker. So if I raise what would the potential outcome be here. Well I think any worse A's and maybe even all other pp's except of course 88, 22. Now I know at this level KK, QQ and even sometimes JJ may stick around but I just decide to call and see another card.

    Turn: ($1.07, 2 players)
Hero checks, Gerapv bets $0.45, Hero calls $0.45

Ok now my brain really starts ticking away. I think ok if I reraise here against a villain whom I have seen been pretty spazzy is he going to call me with any worse A's I don't think so, but I do think if he's got AQ or AK he's going to keep right on betting into me so I decide not to raise. Oh and I don't see that he has really other draws that worry me although I guess he could have KQ or JQ but I don't think so. Plan for the river is go for a check raise if anything other than a K or Q come!

    River: ($1.97, 2 players)

Boom I love this card and figure well buddy if you have a set you're about to bet paid off!

Hero checks, Gerapv bets $0.70, Hero raises to $2.34, Gerapv calls $1.64

    Final Pot: $6.65
Hero shows two pair, Aces and Tens

    Gerapv shows

    Hero wins $6.33 (net +$3.14)

    Gerapv lost $3.19
    AStriker82 lost $0.20

So did I play this right? I know based on the results I did but I am really curious if there are flaws in my thinking? But maybe I would have been better off to have shoved on the turn forcing him to make a mistake?

I haven't played much FR, but I would ditch the 22-55 UTG and UTG+1 if I was playing, then think about KQ and AJ. At 6m, I open KQ and AJs UTG.

One way to keep the small pp's in your range but play it less often is to randomize when you play them. Say, "any hand 22-55 w/ a heart in it, I will open." That means you would play half of the small pp's. If you want to only play 25% of them, choose "evens" or "odds" at the beginning of each session, and only play 22/44 (with hearts in them) on "even" sessions, 33/55 with hearts on "odd" sessions. This works for unpaired combos, too. Let me know what % of KQo you'd like to play, and I'll cook up something simple to get you near that target.

This is actually good game theory, since showing down a 22 in a game puts that card in your range for anyone who's got a HUD and pays attention to it. Admittedly, that's less of a deal now, but this is a helpful little gem for (1) the purpose of tightening up the EP ranges (2) to learn how to play these combos postflop without it killing your win rate, and (3) later for adding some tricksy hobbit to your game when the reg wars happen at 50nl and 100nl.

Playing fewer tables will do wonders for your game, btw, think you're on target there. GLGLGL.

Imma let you finish... but my Vegas trip needs a trip report:

    Day 1 (Starting Vegas BR:2K)
I arrive to the Venetian around 1:30 PM, make my players card, and walk 1 mile north to Vegas' finest dinning establishment. Big Mac value meal, can't go wrong.

Walking back I try to get myself into the poker playing mode. Chanting range range, range mentally trying to stay calm and collected. I only wait 15 minutes and I am at my first Vegas poker game, a 1/2 NL 300 max, buy in. And I am in for 200.

At first the play was too fast for me to keep up. But after a round or two, I got into the grove. I was not taking notes this day, but one hand of interest came up where, luckily, I was only one drink in.

I have QQ on CO and raise it up to 10 or 12 after 2 limps. Semi competent player flats in BB and an old Tight player 3 bets to 50. I think and fold. The BB shows AK, the old man shows AA and I wrongly show QQ. The fold was probably my last decent play before Mr. Walker hit me.

After losing my 500 on some dumb bluffs. I decided that the slots were calling my name and dropped 22 dollars. Luckily this was a very valuable lesson to not drink while I play. I occasional play online with a couple drinks and tend play fine. And tend to quit when I get bad, apprently live is different that as a result of drunkenness I get super bored and aggressive.

I can honestly say that at least half my loss this day resulted from alcohol. I did not have a single sip on alcohol while at a table from this day forth.

In my drunk and cash broke state, I head over to Delmonico's Steakhouse. It was delicious, even in my plastered state the stake was amazing. Well, worth the price.

    Ending BR 1500

    Day 2
Hung over, but determined. I wake, check into Treasure Island for 44/nt includes resort fee and shower. On my way to Bellagio, I hit up Mcdonalds for #1. I get seated around 6:30. A few hours into my session, I see Daniel Negreanu. I wish, I could say I was excited, but I was like oh, cool back to my card game. Guess, I'm not the star struck kind of guy.

This day I typed in ever single hand that I saw a flop in on my Iphone.

    My only crazy aggressive hand:

AJo in SB, 4 limps in front, I raise it to 15, one caller, a semi aggressive player, who has been fairly active. Flop 486 monotone hearts, I have Ace of Hearts. I check the aggressive player bets 20. I think for a a little while and shove 140 into 56 pot. I think this is meh, but he had a decent amount of air and I didn't think he would pay off if I hit and the value of my hand decreases dramatically on the turn. I am good hear against anything but flushes and sets. I don't think this is a great play. I think its a bit crappy. But it was interesting. He folds, I take it down.

    Priced In:

EP opens for 10, 3 callers, I call with 64s on BU, SB shoves for 16, everyone calls, I call. Pot is now 80. 32T two spades. EP bets 35. I don't think he is folding to a shove here. I am getting 3.2 to 1. He has 47 left. At the table i thought I was getting 4:1. So I call. In retro spec this was a bad call. Since ill be committed to call his turn bet no matter what. Turn rolls of an ace he shoves for 47 so now I am getting over 4:1 so I call. Miss. he ships it.

    I love them passive Women:

I raise AA in MP to 10 get to callers including a women on the CO. She has been like the stereotypical women player, who only plays raises with Two pair or better. My plan on the Q37 to two flop is to b/f 3 streets (we have about 300 each). I lead for 25 one folds lady calls, turn completes flush. I think and I plan on bet folding. I lead for 50. She calls, I plan on c/f river if a the board becomes monotone. Turn is a blank, I think and lead 80. She calls, flips AQo, with an ace of hearts, I ship it.

    Ending BR 1769

If you interested will post the other two days as well. But, don't worry I hit Mcdonalds 4/5 days I was in Vegas. Cliff, lost two pounds when I got back too.

22+/ATs+/AQ+/KQs/KQo = 10% = I doubt even many decent LAGs are opening that wide utg. Like, pretty sure none of the winning 17-14s are that loose from ep. If you're limping 22-55 it's ok, but i don't think they're good to raise. You can probably dump ATs and KQo and save yourself a lot of money too. AJs is close.

pre is a fold and probably not even close with utg who isn't even 50bb deep - unless you have reads that either blind is super loose and passive and that co/bu are like 1% 3-b types. Flop is fine cos of villain's sizing. Turn is the nuts cos A8/A2/88/22/AJ/AQ/AK/99-QQ/34 right. And there are not many rivers you hate. Post-flop vnh sir.

    * So I've experimented with limping these recently but for the most part I've been raising them. I do think this is one of my many problems. My plan is to kind of work them in like Robb suggested.

Im a bit tired and I just realized I need to put in at least 40 hours of poker this week to get my stellar reward before years out.

BR:532 (Net of Your 5 dollars)

I will tell one story. It was my last day. I am doing fairly well and this new player joins the table.

He makes it known that he is an internet player. I innocently ask him what he plays. Through gentle probing I find out he plays 100NL, but mainly 100 SNG. As soon as I hear this I start heckling him. Cause, I don't want this guy at my table and this table is good. Luckily, I have position on him.

    Heckling
Me: So... what are you doing playing so low?
Him: Oh well this is the same limit as online.
Me: Oh, well you have a Bankroll of like 4K, you don't belong here, trust me. Go play 2-5.
    Him: Ah, okay.

    Few moments later he
Him: Yeah, im pro I just check fold there.
Me: You see you don't belong here, cause you know how to bet/fold.
Him: Oh.. I don't bet fold.

half hour later, he 3 barrels a scary board and fold to a river shove.

Me: I thought you didn't bet fold?
    Him: Shrugs and grumbles.

    Now this hand happens.

I have AQo in EP, raise to 15 only he calls (BB). Flop T65r. He checks, I check. Turn is a blank. He leads 20. I call. He is repping kinda thin and I have been playing very fit/fold poker. river is Q. He think bets 41. I think about it for a little while and call. He insta mucks. Then asks me what I had I told him, you mucked so i don't need to show you. He is not pleased. He is down 200 at this point. He also appears to be very bored.

I will say that I was very friendly to everyone at the table. chatting nicely with ALL people. So I am not normally a prick.

He is getting annoyed with me a little bit. I say, when you leave I will tell you what I had. He is like "great" sarcastically. At this point he goes what's your problem, semi jokingly. I am like, well, I just don't want someone with a concept of range at my table. 10 minutes later he leaves. I tell him my hand, he was worried I called him with Ace high there so i guess he was a bit happier.

That's about it. I ended up down 162.27 Overall. I also lost an additional 22 in slots. Not a bad trip. Went to Tao night club with a buddy, got in free and by passed the line + plus got free drinks cause my buddy knew a manager. This was Saturday night. So i felt pretty elite, but I have never been a clubber so it was just cool, but not very exciting.

So I have 532 BR and need 506 VPP for 50 stellar. So that's like 40 hours of poker in 10 days.
