    Default 2_Thumbs_Up's 3 Week Operation

Ok, here's the deal. I've been playing online poker for a year now, with better results than I dared to hope for when I started. I started with $20 and have made around $8500. Still, I think I'm under achieving. I don't play nearly as much as I could. And lately I've been spewing like fuck too. I'm making this thread to help motivating me to play more and better. I intend to post my thoughts and expectations in this thread before and after every session. Hopefully this will help me.

My BR is at 5.5k at the moment because of some cash outs a while ago. This is spread out at different sites but I currently only play at Eurobet (Pokerroom skin) because of rakeback. I have approximately 1.2k there and I plan to not deposit any more.

As I said, I don't play as much as I want to. This year I have also been very busy, which hasn't exactly been making things very easy. I've basically only been able to play during weekends. For the first time now I have 3 whole weeks to play so I better make something out of them. Since April was horrible (I sucked) I won't set the goal too high though. My main goal is to stop spewing.

    Here's April:

As you can see, things aren't too bad. It's 200NL and a 7 buy-in downswing shouldn't be too big of a deal. The thing is that usually I'm able to blame it on bad luck. This is not the case now. You can also see that I barely played anything at all. I haven't played during the last 2 weekends because I sucked so hard. So until I feel like I'm playing good enough again, I'm going to play 100NL. My first session will be later today and I will post here before I start.

Time for my first session. I'm gonna 4-table 100NL and see how it goes. If I win 200-300 and think I'm playing good I'll move up to 200NL. I only have 1 goal for the session and that is to play 2-3 hours. It really shouldn't be a problem, but if I play bad I have to quit. I can't let my pride get in the way.

First session over. I played for almost 2 and a half hours and 850 hands. I think I should be able to play that much every day for these 3 weeks. So before I play tomorrow I'm gonna make myself one of those Operation manager picture in my sig. 15 000 hands should be a reasonable goal for 20 days.

I think I played ok today, quite a bit nittier than I use to though. 20/14 or something compared to my regular 24/20. 3 big pots and I made a weak-tight fold in one of them. I didn't spew any but I didn't really get myself in any though situations either. I was up a few buy-ins but ended up only 1 since the poker gods felt like screwing me over. I quit shortly after.

btw does anyone have a link to a pokerroom hand converter. I can't get the FTR converter to work.

I got myself an Operation sig and I'm preparing for a new session. For the first time in quite a while I feel like I REALLY want to play poker, so I'm aiming for 3 hours this time. Like yesterday, I'll start at 100NL. Hopefully things will go alright, and if they do I'll play some 200NL.

I'm too lazy and I realized that this was going to suck so from now on I'll just post whenever I feel like it.

I have played a lot this week, and things have been going up and down. I've been playing really solid though, so today I decided to play some 200NL. Played for 3 hours and ended up half a buy-in after a couple of bad beats vs. half stacks. In general, this whole week has consisted of pretty boring hands. Not a lot of big pots, just the regular grind.

I played 100NL and 200NL for a total of 4 hours today. I think that's the most I've ever played in one day. I'll try to play just as much tomorrow. If I keep this up I'll play through 15k hands in no time. Maybe I should aim for 25k hands instead.
