Default Some spots from tonight, 25nl ZOOM

Hey guys took a short break but I am back. Ran some simulations to see how bad things can get and I certainly arent running too bad. (yet).

Anyways, some spots that got me a bit wtf...

Villain was 25/22 with a F3B of 80%, really aggro postflop. Generally a aggro reg. Thoughts?

Turn donk confused the hell out of me, i thought, two pair, fd? Should I be raising here? Am i getting it in worse? Mainly cause he was a 36/14 passive fish. I have the second nuts! Anyways, when he fires the river I assume I am massively ahead.

Things im trying to do more of, contest for pots, tell me if this is wrong:

Villain was opening wide and not folding often to 3bets, so I think A8s is a good hand to 3bet here for value. Planning to bet flop and turn in a bunch of spots. The board really sucked though and I figure he can float almost any two OTF.

When he checks back the turn I assume he has some showdown value but I remove AK from his range I assume he 4bets it (4b% of 20). That leaves him with some low pairs and some A high floats.

I figure I can bet this river profitably to make him fold those hands and represent some kind of Kx (or AK..)?

Do we fire the turn? I find myself in these spots sometimes where Ive flat with a hand i dont want to 4bet and get it in, and im floating most flops. Then villain checks and I find they check to check raise a bunch of times. Knowing I can have floats in my range?

Also, I find in this spot... he has a 3b% of 15. So I feel I should be 4betting here for value but I dont think hes shipping worse than TT very often. So I prefer calling, question is does it play all that well postflop? If hes aggressive, do we prefer folding? Caught in two minds.

Question is, do I bet this turn?

1 why are you calling 66 against someone aggro pre? why are you floating the flop against someone who is aggro? why are you raising the turn? i would consider folding to such a massive overjam by a reg.

2 why are you raising the 2nd worst river in the deck?

3 youre trying to rep exactly AK AA on this river and abso no one one will believe you

4 what does betting the turn accomplish against someone who is obviously aggressive?

    1. I think you answered your own question here, "why set mine vs an aggressive opponent?". Yeah possibly a fold OTT, it was considered. I just beat all two pairs and 55, overpairs, although he doesnt shove them I suppose.

    2. Because of his river bet sizing looked like a huge blocker bet obv.

    3. Yeah I rep a narrow range but this line BET/CHECK/BET is a favourite of regs with a hand who are trying to get looked up on the river.

    4. My bet protects my hand, thats the only reason. Im not saying betting is good. I was asking on thoughts.
