Default Sol Reader to Leave Grinderschool

    Hi guys!

I don't know if anyone here has followed the controversy on TwoPlusTwo, but there have been some shenanigans that involved one of the Grinderschool instructors. In an effort to keep everyone aware of what's going on, we're making a press release. We regret to announce that as a result of these recent events, Grinderschool will no longer purchase or release new videos from Sol Reader.

We currently have a backlog of 4 videos from him that we still need to release due to budgetary and scheduling restraints. The remaining releases include 3 $110 HU SNG videos and 1 mixed game Stud Hi/Lo video. His final video will be out by May 1st, 2010. We are already beginning the process of finding a suitable replacement. For more information on this matter, please read the full details in: the press release.

For more information about Grinderschool, please see the official FTR thread: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...-164219-4.html

    Thanks,
    Jeffrey "JGB146" Blake
    Founder & Admin of Grinderschool.com

So sucks, it would be so nice to have about 3 accounts at one website.
Even yahoo lets you have alias names, so it could be one master account and you can choose the alias you want to play each session. I know I go by oneincoonrapids on my yahoo chat, but with that same account i can chat under the name onetookinkyguy and one55448 and hairpuller. Sometimes you just want people to leave you alone like wearing sunglasses to the store.

I can understand why GrinderSchool needs to cut all ties with Sol Reader. Help a friend cheat on a prop bet, multiple accounts that contradict each other, it just doesn't look good.

Although I do agree with eberetta1 in that on some sites I have aliases. I think there is a differenece between 'two different accounts' and 'an account with aliases'. Not from the perspective of other people because they don't know but from the perspective of accountability. Is that everyone elses understanding?

First off, good job on getting rid of him. To the guys who think it's fine to have multiple accounts (aliases that you can play under) on sites, I disagree. Poker is a game of knowing player's tendencies, developing reads, etc. Seems wrong to allow a player to change their identity at will, thus severing ties with any reads that other players have developed on them.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

We have just notified Shane that we will not be releasing any more of his videos and he will not receive payments for them. We will be re-issuing an updated press release shortly.

Fortunately I have found replacements for all content forms and those will be out starting next month.

^yeah, that what i gathered... what a crazy story.... i read almost through the whole thing and the apology that was written. crazy to say the least

shit was totally popcorn material. was reading that thread like an hour per night, then of course left for vacation like JUST before all the stuff about the transfers were revealed.

i think my favorite part of that whole story was RoSeeker's confession where he's like "and to all the people who had nothing to do with this bet and were just bystanders, you're welcome for all the entertainment we provided"

I'm pretty shocked and saddened by the whole debacle. This might be pretty damaging for Grinderschool, and you have been repaid for good faith by some pretty serious fraud.

I seriously hope you guys take this matter further.
