    Default Sets

This happened to me at a home game recently. It's down to final three, I pick up pocket tens. I raise big. After a while he calls. Flop is all undercards with no reasonable straight/flush draws. He raises me, sensing weakness I go AI hoping to take the pot. He immediately calls and shows a set of twos. Is there any real way of detecting and avoiding these sets? Was my AI perhaps over agressive and/or premature?

3 handed with all cards under a 10 its hard to lay down the overpair Just say nice hand and you gotta pay off the set there.

Yea. that's what I was afraid of. I couldn't see him having an overpair to my cards since this is a guy that dosen't usually act or feign weakness. I geuss that's the luck aspect of poker.
