    Default Rookie mistake?

I don't have the exact happenings of the hand.. but it went like this.

I was dealt K-4 or something.. BB..

    the flop came K-K-6

I was involved in the hand with another guy, I raised, he followed..

    the turn was a queen..

I rasied 40 or 60.. and he jumped up all-in.. I followed, foolishly.

I thought the hand over, didn't really consider him having a king and pairing his other card..

The queen excited him because he had two queens.. and that makes a full house, can you imagine?

The more I think about it the stupider the call was. Stupid or not?
    Bet the pot every time.

Unless you know opp is a donkey, don't be willing to stack off in an unraised pot with a very vunerable holding.

I too made the call that you made early on in my "poker career" ... what I learned from that was ... kickers matter even with trips .. obviously your 4 wasn't goot. So as the AHiltz says ... don't be willing to stack off with your trips and lousy kicker.
