I think the 3b pre is legit given that villain minraised and there are still 5 players after us? BTW, the minraise and min-4b would indicate that he is retarded?

    checkkkkk
Check what? The flop or the turn?

If you bet the flop for value because he never has 33-22 but he would continue with 88+, then what is the reason not to bet the turn for value? On the other hand, if his flop continuing range is 88+,33-22, then we have less than 50% equity and we should not bet the flop to start with?

I bet the flop for value vs button expecting UTG to fold out, I hadn't planed for this eventuality.

My bad, I hadn't even seen that button was involved. So flop bet is fine.

Turn seems really thin unless you discount AA-KK or the sets. Better check behind I think.

I'm calling pre to setmine, so I'm checking down until he bets, then probably folding.

Yeah, I WTFed on that as well. Is there any sane reason to CIB 4 bet like that?

I'd bet a hair more on the flop and shove any non-Ace non-King assuming he's retarded and going to play AK like that pre-flop and on the flop.

If you don't think he's retarded, then yeah, probably not so much value betting the turn.
