QQ 3-way

Results 1 to 5 of 5

    Default QQ 3-way

--BU is 26/16/1.6 AF with 36% steal over 62 hands
--BB is a 50/15/6.0 AF fish over 33 hands

    $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Holdem

    Stacks:
    UTG KaiZZaN ($25.64)
    CO HouseofLo ($53.22)
    BTN alexitti ($51.97)
    SB Hero ($26.20)
    BB Denerxic92 ($13.31)

    Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 5 players) Hero is SB
    2 folds, alexitti raises to $0.70, Hero calls $0.60, Denerxic92 calls $0.45

I flat instead of 3b because I want the fish to come along.

    Flop: ($2.10, 3 players)
Hero bets $1.50, Denerxic92 folds, alexitti calls $1.50

I lead this flop because the fish was in the pot but in hindsight I'm not sure I considered the fact that he's and aggro fish. I think a check has its merits here with a c/r vs the BU or a c/c vs the fish, depending on who bets. Dunno

    Turn: ($5.10, 2 players)
Hero bets $3.25, alexitti calls $3.25

Since I lead flop I'm just going for more value. Thoughts on sizing here? I think maybe it could be bigger

    River: ($11.60, 2 players)
    Hero bets $4.25

I think I have to bet this river a lot larger than I actually did because I think he'll call larger bets with AJ/KJ/QJ.

    First off im a fish.

Second off my thought process here would be that on the flop we give up too much value by betting. This flop is extremely dry, and we have a very strong hand relative to our opponents betting ranges, but shorten the list of hands our villains continue with dramatically when we bet.

Both hand samples are very small, but the fish has been aggressive up to this point, and this is a flop alot of tags might be c betting. The only hands we really lose value from is a 56 type hand from fish. If the fish checks and the button c bets i dont like a check raise though because the board is so dry and villain may be folding a ton of his JT type hands. If villain is the type to give you his stack with alot of jacks here you will probably get it anyways, plus he can go berserk with dumb c bets or value town himself.

Ie. we are WA/WB the buttons c betting range and i would want to keep as much of the WA range as possible.

I like your flop line, maybe bet turn a little bigger and definitely go bigger (around 8-9$) on the river to maximize your EV.

Personally I would 3b it pre. Don't like playing high PP OOP in multiway pots, esp. without having the initiative.

Flop I think leading is fine, although you probably get fold/fold most of the time on this dry board. Still, giving a free card to all the A and K out there doesn't seem right. Not so sure button cbets all his range here, esp. on a steal vs 2 and he does not seem so aggressive postflop (a read of whether he keeps up aggression postflop when on steals would be nice).

As has been said before, bet a little more on the turn to charge the draws that came on the board, and more on the river for value against AJ or even KJ (but don't take my word for it, my turn and river plays leave much to be desired).

I agree with daviddem and would probably 3-bet pre for value/protection, but I think your line, flatting to include the fish, is just as valid.

Betting the flop is good even tho it's super dry. Not so much worried about giving a free card as missing a street of value.

Turn looks fine. You could bet a tad more, like 4, because now the board is drawy.

I'd probably bet 7 on the river but whatever they'll call of course. The exact sizing is kinduva personal preference.

Overall, it looks fine. Well played.
