Default QQ 25nl facing 3 bet.

barely ever play cash games, new to table 3 hands in so no stats except saw UTG raiser 3 barrel bluff KQ with an ace on board and got called down by AQ.

    4bet? how much?

    Grabbed by Holdem Manager
    NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
    SB ($25.80)
    Hero ($24.75)
    UTG ($21.42)
    CO ($31.07)
    BTN ($29.64)

    Dealt to Hero Q Q

UTG raises to $0.85, fold, fold, [color=red]SB raises to $2.80, Hero ?

Flat, try to hit a set and reassess postflop. 4-betting here looks strong as hell, folds out any bluffs or worse hands and you'll never have better than 40% or so equity getting it in and often have less.

The only reason you'd have to 4-bet here is if the 3 bettor is a fish who 3 bets light and depolarised then can't fold to 4-bets. This 3 bet should be assumed to have a pretty damn strong range unless you have reason to think otherwise.

3bet from SB seems awfully strong since he will be playing OOP. Flatting is good.

    so just 4bet KK+ here.

i think so.. I often have trouble even flatting QQ because I always run into a 3bet range that consists of KK+, so semi-often fold it pre because i dont have setmining odds. I wonder how much of a leak this is though and usually feel like i'm being incredibly weak.

By the sounds of it you are going to be facing continuing aggression. If you dont want to call down with what will probably be a middle pair by the end of the board then fold pre imo

Stack sizes of UTG lead me to believe he could be somewhat fishy, hence i suspect SB's 3betting range isn't nearly as completely nutted as a sb v UTG raise normally is. Throw in the fact that we have no stats and I cant find a fold here. Definitely not 4betting tho.

A lot of assumptions being made without any reads/evidence imo. Gotta tread carefully in this spot. Obv not a fold btw, the above comment was for the luhlz. Would be nice if you offered something other than that though Bikes *shakes head*

Well we'll have position on the 3bettor so it depends on if he cbets and whether the pot is 3 way. Usually I'd take a pot control line on most low boards 832r, T52r etc since I don't think getting it in will be that profitable without reads.
