Default this is prob horrendous spew...

    Villain is running 42/38/10.0 over 28 hands with 33% 3-bet and 57% steal. He's a spew tard..

    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed)

    BB ($26.45)
    UTG ($41)
    Hero (Button) ($25)
    SB ($6.45)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, 5
1 fold, Hero bets $0.75, 1 fold, BB raises $1.75, Hero raises $5.75, BB calls $4.50

    Flop: ($13.10) 4, Q, 5 (2 players)
    BB bets $10, Hero ???

Alright I didn't have many hands on this guy but hes an idiot. My initial thoughts for the hand were that I wanted to 4-bet and take down the pot vs his prob pretty weak range. I didn't really have an idea how he would react to 4-bets but I was going to ship over any smallish raise he made. I figured this wouldn't be too bad since we have at least 25-30% equity vs almost his entire calling range. Not only that, but we also have some fold equity imo since this guy can literally try anything, including trying to bluff our 4-bet. If this play is actually profitable, which it almost certainly isn't, then I think a smaller 4-bet is better to induce shit a little more often/give me a little more FE when I ship over his raise.

He decides to just flat call the raise. This smells like a weak hand because if he had a strong hand he was comfortable with, why wouldn't he just ship PF when it looks like I'm not folding often given the PF action. At this point I'm pretty much thinking I'm shipping most flops and he's folding pretty often.

He leads into me for a little less than pot and about half his remaining stack. At this point I have about zero FE but I really couldn't stand the thought of giving this guy the pot so I just shipped anyway LOL.

Anyway, tell me what you think of the thought process. More importantly, I think I some ppl to just tell me how fcking retarded this shit is so that I'll stop doing it.

Lolz. Standard FPS poker. God damn do I know it well from my own spewtarding. I would say "hey pretty decent rationale considering circumstances" but that isn't really appropriate lol. I think you're just trying to rationalize a pretty sloppy play, i do it a lot too, ("but no! he was sooooo lagggggy no way he has a good hand!") but the reality is that this might be an okay 4bet HU but in a microstakes 6max there's really no reason for it.

I know it's hard, I always want to outplay people too but sometimes there just isn't enough ability there to outplay and you just rock yourself instead.

we're getting 26:1 PF IP; let's just flat. depending on what kind of spewtard he is (next paragraph), we can rebluff on soooo many boards with our hand (this flop included).

how do we know he's a spewtard though? is it just based on the stats (because they're not at all a certain indication that he sucks), or is it based on previous hands (in which case you should provide that history)? what exactly makes him a spewtard is like really important to this hand.

As for the hand itself, he's repping enough things for value and he has like zero draws in his range. i don't really see why he is running a bluff like this when we're showing so much strength

in ur accounts... confiscating ur funz
I would just call his minraise pre and play a flop. Whenever you get it in there pre you're never in great shape.
As played shipping isn't terribad because his line doesn't look like value, but he might be bluffing or whatever they're thinking with 66-JJ. That seems to be a common line for that type of hand. dun asks me why.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

I personally think the 4bet is awful, why do you want to get committed pre and flip a coin for a decision on calling this 10$ lead. Play lots of flops with decent hands and 3bet/4bet hands that you want to ship whether you hit a flop or not imo... 43/38 should be free money a lot of the time, flat the extra $1 and outplay him post flop.

As played I snap fold... if he has 66-jj hes prolly calling if you ship it, I would say QJ and KQ are also very possible... I doubt he has enough bluffs in his range to make continuing close to profitable

Put him on a range, then put all of the monies into the pot.
