Default PP for set value flops open ender; now what?

    Everleaf No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Everleaf Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($17.38)
    BB ($8.25)
    UTG ($6.75)
    Hero (MP) ($7.72)
    CO ($10.16)
    Button ($10.77)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 6, 6
1 fold, Hero calls $0.10, CO bets $0.40, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.30

    Flop: ($0.95) 7, 4, 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.85, Hero ??

?? Villain is 25/20 with a 31% c bet. My image is similarly tight. Is this Ev to call? Should i lead here or just fold? I played them for set value originally.

Just raise preflop, you can still play for "set value" with the added bonuses of being able to win the blinds sometimes or take down pots postflop with c bets.

As played c/c is pretty standard and the best way to go most of the time.

This hand plays totally differently if you open raise, also playing for set value doesn't work if you start the hand with less than 80 BBs.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Not always the case, but yeah you have a lot of other reasons to play this hand other than flopping a set and giving up otherwise.

Everleaf seems to be supported but you have to have 10 post to use the hh converter. Tried to convert it for you but there's an error, maybe not enough of the raw history.

As for the hand, open limping is horrible here so raise instead of limp. Either way I'd prolly lead flop. As played, you really can't continue.

rebuy if you're rolled for 10nl, move down otherwise

shove 40% when called, you have decent fold equity, you credibly rep the sets, you're a shortstack, etc

I am rolled for it, It's just one of the many obvious things I'm sure I'm overlooking. Auto top-off is now turned on, thank you.

Thank you everyone for the advice so far, it's a lot to think of and I'll be hard at work.

Imo raising pre is much better play, and c-bet will take it down more often than not on that board.
