Play money considering Real money. $25 free at Empire Poker?

Can anyone there give me some advice?

I've seen a promotion at Empire Poker on www.empirefree.com which seems to indicate I can get $25 for downloading their software.

I'm getting close to being ready to play for real money but don't want to go mad at the beginning. Is this a good way to start?

I currently use Tigergaming cos it offers other types of poker games as well as Hold 'Em. I particularly like Guts poker - it's quick and it's fun.

No. Bad idea to start at Empire w/ $25 BR. They don't have micro-limits.

If you are going to play serious, get a serious BR together like $500 for .25/.5 limit/NL.

If you want to transition to real money, find a site like Pokerstars or many other sites that offer very low stakes games like .05/.1.

The reason I say no is that the $25 free money can be gone in 2 hands and you need to have a real BR to play even .25/50.
