Default KQ, KJ, QJ and shortening my range

After a recent downswing in the micros I spent some time looking for leaks. One of these I believe is how I play KQo, KJo, and QJo.

When I first decided on my playing range I went with the standard 19 and have been trying to play with it religiously. I have a host of leaks I am sure, but one I think was quite obvious after watching some videos is how I play those three hands, which is to say too much.

My skills concerning position play are quite lacking but I noticed that Jym doesn't play those hands (haven't yet got into the other micro libraries, slowly working my way through them) very often from early, or middle position. Do I need to be saving those three for CO or BU play, and if so, are those raising hands given how poorly they play?

Well, in 6m opening KJ is fine from UTG
QJ is a fold for sure

also, don't call preflop raises with those hands unless you're on the button
