Default KK, squeezed pot vs a nit

So this was only over 26 hands but he was 8/8, a perceived nit.

My problem here is once I squeeze (maybe I could make this 3.25?). The SPR is so small on OTT. So I am totally torn between what to do? I like my flop bet sizing. But now the pot is $15 OTT and I have $19 behind, I feel like I cant bet fold any amount? Because betting a ridiculous amount like 5 or 6 just seems stupid.

I feel like I cant bet small, I have to bet reasonably, but then I leave myself with like 7$ and have to call it off if he ships and I cant check b/c of the board texture??

So I was stuck between, "Oh shit, I cant bet fold this turn but I want to bet fold, but any amount I bet, folding would be ridiculous, so what do I do? Shove?"

    PokerStars Zoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, K
UTG bets $0.75, 1 fold, CO calls $0.75, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.75, 2 folds, CO calls $2

    Flop: ($6.50) 3, 10, 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $4.25, CO calls $4.25

    Turn: ($15) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $10, CO raises to $20, Hero calls $9.14 (All-In)

Bet smaller on flop. Not sure what else to tell ya. Not sure why you like your flop bet sizing? Not only does it make your turn weird as you said (I would bet less than $10 on turn btw), but I mean the flop is very dry. When you're bluffing this flop you're going to hate betting 2/3 pot on it.

I also bet larger preflop as I doubt you're choosing this amount with a bluff.

What dan said. Pre I make it about the same, flop I'd bet around $3.5 since I can only see him having AQs+ flush draws and it sets up an $8 turn bet (this turn I prob bet less) and river shove if he stations. As for what to do now, we gotta call now. Looks to me like he's got AQhh AKhh TT-QQ, but it feels more like the nuts so I'm really not thrilled about this at all.

If there's no 3rd heart are we happy to get it in unimproved assuming no ace?

    If not, everything is wrong.

If yes, flop is fine, check heart turn. I dunno.

    Bigger preflop like you said.

I really doubt this guy has a flush in his range, except maybe AK/AQhh. Probably going to see QQ/JJ with a heart really often.

Well a nit's UTG range for raising and calling a squeeze is pretty narrow anyway. Aside from TT-QQ, AK & AQs, what else is there, if it's even that wide? I'm not sure JxJh is shoving the turn, maybe QxQh.

I mean I guess you gotta call the shove, but I'm not over the moon at the situation. Villain seems very comfortable to get it in. I hate it when a nit is very comfortable to get it in and I don't have the nuts. I just don't know how we play it differently to avoid the situation.

Yeah this was my thought too...

So from what you guys have said I should be raising to 2.75, so pot on the flop would be $6.50 as you have said. Then you said bet less on the flop 3.50, making the turn pot $13.50.

Then I have around $20 behind, so you bet $8 into 13.50 and then what?

Fold to a shove getting over 2:1?

    Mixed information lol..

i go at least $3.25 preflop. bet less on flop. as played i bet less on turn, particularly if i plan to fold (which i would here vs a nit)

as an aside, i completely understand your problem with bet/folding with certain SPRs. it has been something that has bugged me since i've played poker.

Yeah I get what you mean, it usually sucks when nits are eager to get money in.

One thing to note is that the nit (CO) called the UTG raise then called our squeeze which makes me think his range is mostly pairs, not impossible he choose to setmine in a 3bet pot.
