Default I hate these spots. 2 Hands.

    1. Villain is a reg. He's running 26/20 with Bu steal at 43% over 136 hands. I 3bet the last 2 hands and decided to flat this one. He has cbet 6 out of 7 times total and barreled the turn 2/3 times. What's your move on the river? Bsmall/call a shove? Bsmall/fold a shove? Bbig/call a shove? C/r (ai?)?

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($13.72)
    UTG ($25.35)
    MP ($23.25)
    CO ($28.48)
    Button ($27.06)
    Hero (SB) ($28.87)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
3 folds, Button bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.65, 1 fold

    Flop: ($1.75) 8, A, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $1, Hero calls $1

    Turn: ($3.75) J (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $3, Hero calls $3

    River: ($9.75) 8 (2 players)

    2. I rarely limp behind but UTG was aggro/shortish which is why I did this time. SB is a reg but wasn't isolating limps too often. He was running 23/21 with cbet of 60% over 137 hands. Not cbetting and then going "nuts" on the turn makes me want to just fold.

    MP ($25)
    Hero (Button) ($25.47)
    SB ($45.94)
    BB ($26.68)
    UTG ($12.90)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3, 3
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.25, SB bets $1.50, 1 fold, UTG calls $1.25, Hero calls $1.25

    Flop: ($4.75) 2, 8, 3 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($4.75) 5 (3 players)
SB bets $3.25, UTG raises to $7.25, Hero calls $7.25, SB raises to $44.44 (All-In), UTG calls $4.15 (All-In), Hero calls $16.72 (All-In)

hand 1 is meh...obv not folding here ever, just sucks idk if you wanna get pwned by rake by shoving, and splitting...i guess for that reason i bet small/call shove

hand 2....i cant think of anything he is doing this with that we beat, you would think he would Cbet all his over pairs and 8x hands...i think this is like always 55,88
also why are you checking behind on the flop?

lol @ ever folding in H1. if he is barreling a TON then c/r could work, if he's not barreling this river often (i doubt it) then bet like 6-7 and call a shove ldfo. Even though you are probably splitting a large portion of the time.

H2 looks like a cooler. Shrug.

HAND 1: I would check call because he is not calling with worse, but he is betting with worse.

HAND 2: Why are you checking behind this flop? Its 3 handed, bet and extract value from draws, mid pairs, overpairs, overcards and whatever these people are used to call with.

i dont see a reason to do anything but c/c in h1, i mean...what do we get value from by c/r-ing or b/shoving?

    h2 seems fine

Yeah hand 1 I was being dumb and just thinking oh he'll check back with like Jx/QQ/KK/etc. so I need to bet. I ended up butchering the hand. I bet small (I think this is a huge mistake but hoping he raised slightly as a bluff for some unknown dumbass reason) and he shoved. I hated it and called.

Hand 2 checking behind flop because I thought PFR was extremely weak with no overpair so it's not like I'm worried nor can I extract from him and then the donk is probably folding a lot if I bet. I know he's aggro but I mean the flop texture is so dry.

H1: This is a pretty easy c/c, he'll likely check a J on the turn a ton of the time and not call a river lead with anything worse. Just give him the option of bluffing, c/r is jus gonna get you pwned vs JJ, 8x and rake. he doesn't have a b/c range on the river of which you beat anything.

H2: Checking the flop here is actually fine for once. Thing is you can stack utg easily in 2 streets anyways so want to let anovercard roll off thatwill give them equitees. As for the pfr, his range consists of A: air which is always c/f this flop (this is the vast majority of his range) B: The very occassional slowplayed overpair, which is likely going to bet the turn where you can raise and get your stack in anyways and C: medium sd value hands that are c/c flop but you're never getting 3 streets from anyways so don't gain a huge amount from.

The vast majority of his range like I said though is air, so yeah this is one of the spots where "slowplaying" is going to be optimal. Should you need 3 streets to stack utg due to a larger spr then absolutely bet the flop, but not here.

On the turn: this is 88 a ton, but don;t see how we can fold unless we discount 22 heavily and say he's never playing an overpair this way. He only needs to have a few combos of AA or w/e to make this a call. I'm not folding because I wouldn't be totally surprised to see these hands sometimes aswell as 22 occasionally.

H1: I agree with what has been said already. He's not calling worse when we bet so c/c seems best to let him bluff if he wants.

H2: I think this is totally fine. UTG is going to be stacking off with dumb shit all the time. I think there are some overpairs in SB's range as well so really have no problems here.
