    Default A hand I played last night (Or failed to play rather)

    I think we were down to about the last 40 players of a $5 Freezeout tourney, 10 seat tables when the action gets folded to;

    Blinds are 300/150

    Mp3 - Raise to 900
    CO - Hero 15000 chips (roughly) - 6 6 - folds
    BU - Calls.
    SB - Folds
    BB - Folds

    Flop comes - 10 6 2

    Did I play this wrong by folding to a raise?

    NO LAUGHING!

    Don't be results orientated it's the decision that matters.

    You'll only flop a set 1 in 8 times, however you don't win all the time, sometimes he'll have a better set or outdraw you or won't be able to stack off with his hand (assuming he's decent).

    What was MP3's stack size and what ranges/reads do you have?

    The player was quite new to the table so I didn't really have a read as such and they had about 25000 chips.

    Sorry for the lack of info. I've just delved in to my hand history and it only tells me the the cards and bets made not the proper stack sizes. I should of posted this last night whilst playing really.

    Well you have to call 900 to win 15000 potentially, so around 16 to 1.

    I don't mind a call in this situation, since many people tend to tighten up in the later stages his range should be on the tighter side i.e. less likely to fold on low flops in which your hand is nicely disguised.
