What's ridiculous about raising your good hands?
I just think it's flawed to think that a hand that just calls you on the flop will fold on the turn most of the time. The board is as dry as it gets, so he doesn't have to protect against a draw, and he wants you to keep betting with the scond best hand. If he does have something like KQ, QJ, QT, Q9 - or JJ, TT, 99 - he doesn't want to bloat the bot.
You probably made him fold a small pair or Ax here
