FTR Session Review - Need Your Input

Alright, I need some help in deciding how long we should make the review period last. I made a post in the last review thread [http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ker-50383.htm] but only got one reply and would like to see some more input on this subject. Do we think 2 weeks is too short? Should we switch to a month? Maybe every 3 weeks? What do people think about this?

Also, on a side note. How do you guys think we could expand this? Maybe ask people to try to find new members every other session and invite them to be partners with a PM? I think we have had a decent turnout with this, but the problem comes after a few reviews where we have people who have been paired up several times, even right in a row.

Any input on these questions is appreciated, and anything else you want to add is fine as well.

2 weeks is fine imo.

2 weeks is fine IMO.

i like 2 weeks. i'm sure people understand if someone is just really busy and overruns a week.

its not the end of the world if u get the same person another week, it might allow them to spot tendencies you cant spot in one session. I've got Vegascoop again this time, and i'm hopin he'll spot a few patterns that arent as easy to spot in one session.

Thats the one problem though. At 2p2 when I participated in the reviews they were monthly and you had to sign up each time. If they are done bi-weekly, there really isnt a ton of time to make sure everybody signs up again, etc. Any suggestions on this?

You could just start signups in the middle of the second week, unless you think that's too much work for you b/c of frequency. Or instead of re-signing up, it could be an opt out system, where you would post if you wanted to stop, or you could post if your partner didn't participate so he could be removed.

I think the second option is the best. I will post signups tomorrow, let me know if any of your partners didnt do it so I can find somebody else for you guys. I will also post an explanation of the changes in the thread and send a PM out.

Alright, Im going to start things up again and hopefully keep them running more consistently. I am going to Montreal on Wednesday to get away from everything around me and Ill be hitting up a card club and maybe a home game with Genitruc and Ravageur. Anyways, I get back on Friday and will make the postings then along with an updated "outline" of how we should go about conducting these and signing up, etc. If there is anything you guys think I should make sure to include, just let me know.
