Default FTR Quick Tips Comments, Suggestions, Advice

    Hi guys,

I have been making the "FTR Quick Tip" series of videos for several months now. I was wondering if the community could give me some suggestions for future vids or comments about what kind of videos everyone would like to see.

I have been trying to illustrate a different small strategy point in each vid, with a couple of example hands if possible. But I'm open to suggestions, not only regarding the topics of the vids, but also the format.

Is there any interest in different types of videos? Maybe session recordings or HH reviews of a session? I'm not sure what kinds of content are best in the opinion of the community.

It has been fun for me, as well as educational to produce these videos. Sometimes when I'm crunching some numbers to illustrate a point that I'm making, I discover something that I had not known before. I'm pretty glad to keep making the vids, and I think soliciting more ideas is the best way forward, so that I can get a fresh perspective and also be more aware of what people want to see.

Both session recording and HH reviews of a session would make fantastic videos imo. Also, maybe a brief mention on the small things like proper note-taking, as opposed to writing down the specifics of how a hand played when you don't really need all that information, table selection and things like that.
Currently grinding live cash games. Life is good.

Canada; the country all tucked away down there...
    1) when/how to adjust to resteals
    2) When & why to resteal/call when facing steal - the decisions that go into the choice.
    3) When 2x barrelling is +ev
    4) How to post a hand (and what thoughts to put down in the post) to get the best advice

By the way I think the vids are good. Nice and quick but relevant

Thanks for the ideas guys. I think I'm going to try to do a session recording soon. Then probably something about how to play when facing a resteal.

    Any other suggestions from anyone?

You could have put a link to the videos in your post.

I saw one you did a while back based on a link in a forum thread.
Otherwise I wasn't aware that the section existed.

I have some catching up to do, but the videos are good.

    Hi Chemist,

I always make a thread here in Beginner's Circle when I upload a new video, along with a post that's visible on FTR's main page under the heading "Current FTR Events & Poker News." Is there something I can do to make the vids more available or visible to the community?

All I can think of is perhaps making it clearer they are videos,
I only saw: [FTR Quick Tip 011] Playing Suited Connectors
because I was interested in the title and was surprised to find a video,
perhaps I might have looked at some of the other Quick Tips if I had realised they were videos.
    Of course now I know.
