    Default dealing with idiot newbs?

what is the best way to deal with players who have a understanding of the game but will call any raise/bet (any pair will do type of players).

    here is an example

Last night me and my buds had a cash game. it was early in the game and the blinds were around 15/25 i think.

the blinds post, and im in early position. I have KQ suited, I wanted to weed out a couple of players so i bet 150 or 175. It goes Fold Fold Fold Call Call. Flop comes 5 5 2. I fire again at it 300. It goes Call and All-in. I insta folded as soon as he pushed. the guy to my left calls the all-in, turn 6 river K. the big blind turns over QQ .. i guess that was an alright move to push all in.. i wouldnt have made that move but wtv i guess he wanted to take it down. The guy to my left turns over fucking K9... really ?? how the hell do you call all-in with a K9??? .. Yes he won but before he rivered a K he had nothing...

please how to deal with these tards?

If someone is calling too much, the obvious adjustment to make is bluff them much less and value bet them much more.

If blinds were really 15/25, then your 150/175 bet in early position is way too big. Another thing about the noobs and stations is that they don't understand bet sizing, so a 5x/6x raise in early position only bloats the pot OOP.

If you do choose to raise, 3x will suffice.

Wat. You should be thrilled people are calling shoves in your games with Khigh. I mean I don't see what the problem is and obviously the QQ shove is super great if this guys is calling Khigh and you should try and understand his play because the sooner you try and understand why people are doing things the sooner you can understand the way they think and exploit them. Also trying to understand how someone plays is important in improving your own game. There's so many poker players who are so fucking close minded and always OMG WHAT A RETARDED PLAY LOL SUCH EASY MONEY when the play actually is probably very justifiable from villains viewpoint.

Now obviously the Khigh call is really really horrible and this guy is just a huge drooler.

    Rant over.

You need to change your mindset. Any time your opponent makes a mistake, you win. Decisions, not results.

You are defining a calling station. So don't bluff them, but value bet a lot more hands than you would against a thinking player.

But you want to make the pots as big as you can again very weak players, even oop. You have to take advantage of exactly that, they don't understand sizing, so 6x them and over-bet them all day long.
Aslo please keep in mind this is a live game, it's ok to 5/6x pre. Not with KQs but still..

noobs = money, don't call them names, tell them nh to encourage their noobness
If things were to magically revert to January 1st, 2003, only I could take everything I know now in terms of poker ability/knowledge, bonus clearing, etc., I think it's safe to say that it would be trivially easy to make over a million dollars.

What made you think your original bet would narrow the field? Obviously, it didn't do a good job. That's fine when you have holdings you're betting for value. But when you're betting wholly or in part with an expectation that opponents will play the way you want them to... not so good.

Hahaha, I played in a home game once, I knew I had the best hand pocket 7's so I go all-in and someone calls with 45 offsuit, well he won trip 5's lmfao..

I think when you play against non-experienced players, you have to slightly cautious because they play some really bad hands... Just shrug it off and know that most likely if he bets he's prolly playing a high card.... He's prolly the type of guy who play's any ace or king right??
