    Default DANIELS CHALLENGE

I'm gonna be following Daniels progress as he works
    his $10 upto $10000(or is it $100000)
ive been watching him at .01/.02 tables
he says that he wont move up a level
    until he reaches $25
im reckoning this will take him 2 to 3months at least
hes set himself a huge challenge as we all know there are
    many donks at this level.
so this will cause daniel to fold more hands proberly than he would normally do.
its going to be a long process for him just playing
    very strong starting hands
personally i would find that extremly boring
and perhaps thats why i struggle to go up as i like being in the action alot of the time.

QFT. Daniel Negreanu issued this challenge to himself so he would have an easy way to win money without risk. Very clever Daniel, but this still doesn't make you a real player of poker.

How is he not a real poker player? LOL Whats wrong with taking nothing and turning it into something? NOTHING and you have to be one hell of a player to do it.

Daniel said himself that it will take him 3 years. He doesnt have time to play 10hrs a day, and lets face it grinding is a tough, time consuming job, even for good players.

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
Everyone chill out... First off, there is nothing wrong with doing a "challenge" like this. Just because Daniel is going to drop to the micros for a challenge like this doesn't mean that he is not, as you say it, a "true player of poker" (whatever the fuck that means). Tbh, it's rather dumb of him to do this challenge, because the time he spends playing the micros is seriously taking away from the money he could be making playing whatever it is he plays regularly.

Second, this challenge, much like Chris's (Jesus), is not that difficult to accomplish. I mean seriously... What is the difference in what they are doing from any other individual who starts at the micros and works their way up? It's the same damn thing, except they already know how to play poker, and others have to learn along the way.

Thirdly, why the fuck did I spend my time writing that only to address a thread full of what appears to be trollers.. The password is: ball_lick..

i personally think will make way way more than people see on the surface. Daniel will be posting the vids to his site PokerVT...this is a subscription based website (I used to run porn sites which are generally subscription based). If he increases his membership by only 1,000 people...that is $30,000 a month in new income. If he hits the $100,000...that press alone will garner him "way" more than 1,000 new signups. He is going to make 10x+ what he makes grinding...in new subscribers.

LOL at taking tow to three months to get out of $2NL and move up.

Don't forget that pokerstars is looking at this as advertising too. There is a ton of money to be made by the site with new people hoping to play with Negraneau as well. This may breed a whole new batch of fish.

LOL i missed that until now.... I bet he moves up in one week if not after one session.

I don't know about how hes regulating himself but it won't take him long to leave the 2nl.
