Video Attention Newbies and Lurkers: FREE Coaching

    Attention Newbies

I'm offering free coaching to give you the basics of winning at low stakes poker. This coaching will happen in one-on-one sessions and in small groups, and the times are very flexible.

You don't have to know me or know anything about poker to take advantage of this offer.

I'm going to be using some free chat room software to host these coaching sessions, and I've put together a quick video to show you exactly how to get set up. It takes about 4 or 5 minutes to install, but after that you'll just be a click away.

If you're ready for your free coaching, then here's what you need to do. Go to this URL (http://www.ntalk.de/Nettalk/en/index.php?page=Download) and follow these instructions:

I look forward to meeting you!

I really want to get in on this. Work has been crushing me lately, but I'm hoping things settle down and I can start logging onto the chat more. My online play is subpar at best, especially in cash games, because I get impatient and distracted easily. My live play is better but sometimes I am too dependent on my reads... I make hero calls and thanks to confirmation bias I only remember the times when it pays off, not the times when I pay for it.

Excuse my ignorance, but is Nettalk similar to Skype or MSN messenger?

It's kind of the same sort of thing, but it's designed to use the IRC protocol for group chats. There are other software clients to use the IRC protocol, but I picked Nettalk for the tutorial because it's free, simple to use, and easy to set up.

Get in there guys, if you're serious about poker then you need to make the time for this. It costs you nothing but time, trade in your next poker session for chatting in the IRC, it'll be higher EV.

There have been a lot of views on this thread, and not a lot of people taking me up on my offer.

I don't think you understand: I will seriously help anyone with poker who wants it.

Download the shit and come talk to me. It takes like three minutes, and it will make you lots of money.

If you want to take me up on this offer, then send me a PM or post in this thread and we'll arrange a time to meet. I'm there on and off during the day just depending on what I'm busy with, so if you don't catch me, then send me a PM or post here and I'll get with you.

I will take you up on this. I am not a very good cash player but would really like to improve that aspect of my game so that I can become a more complete player.

I sent you a PM here on the forums. I'll be in the chat room the rest of the afternoon (eastern time) if you want to just come by.

    Here's a quick update:

My connection was pretty screwed up over the past couple of weeks, but they seem to have things figured out, so I'll be back in there pretty much 24/7.
