Yeah still available to US players.

BCP moving to WPN (Winning Poker Network) is probably going to turn out to be very good for BCP players, and current WPN players. At Merge, cashouts are taking around 2 months or more, and they recently removed P2P transfers. Meaning the way in which most people got money off the site quickly by selling to others, and paying a vig for bank wires, was no longer an option.

WPN on the other hand currently has a pretty efficient cashier. P2P transfers are available also. Withdraw limits are higher. Can receive bankwires, as well as get a debit card for use at ATMs (not sure on this exactly yet). And it takes much less time (1-2 weeks max I think).

Couple of concerns though is that the software on WPN isn't nearly as good as Merge's software imo. HEM1/HEM2 aren't currently working on WPN (although PT4/PT3 is), but supposedly HEM support says they will get on it when they get this major update over with. But, WPN has a large software update they are working on, but not sure when it will be implemented.

BCP was probably the most reg infested skin on Merge I would think. As for a little bit they were offering under the table rakeback deals, so most regs were moving from other skins to go to BCP to get the extra 15%+ RB they could there. So, BCP moving to WPN will probably make the games a bit toughter, while also making Merge games a bit softer (I would think).

Also, flat RB on Merge is 35%, while on WPN it's only 27%. But WPN also has a VIP system identical to that of Stars. However, given traffic it doesn't seem as viable an option since it would be very difficult to get the Supernova/SNE equivalent. And most things under that you would be better off with the flat rakeback deal of 27%.

Good news for BCP players though is that when they move on Dec 3rd, you will be grandfathered in with the rakeback % you obtained on BCP. So you would keep getting 35% (or more if you qualified via the VIP program) rather than the 27%. So for anyone without a BCP account, that might want to play on WPN in the future, I suggest opening an account with 35% rakeback ASAP, so you get that when it moves over.

Yeah, it was a rant, but didn't see any of the information on FTR, and wanted to provide some cliffs for anyone who wasn't up to speed.

if you join BCP after the move you will get the standard 27% rb or VIP deal for the winning network. Players in states that are banned from signing up as new players at WPN appear as though they will be able to play on WPN so it could be advantageous for players in those states to get a BCP account to keep their options open.

Its hard to work out whats going to happen in the next couple of months with merge trying to consolidate the player base onto the sportsbook owned skins carbon, pdc and aced and squeezing the other sites. how long RPM will stay on merge is now the latest speculation with them pulling out of poker maximus.

P2P will also mean that a lot of US staking deals will move to WPN as well, simply because funding stakees will be easy and for stakers/stakees getting cash off the network will also be easier. Obviously this means that there will be a disproportionate number of good players on the network after the move making the games tougher , but if depositing is easy and a lack of tables elsewhere may mean that the fish may end up following the action.
