    Default aces at the quarters

    super standard?
i call to keep in the fish and cos sb is going to want to win the pot postflop.
co is weak winning player, i don't know how he wins really - 28-11-4 station postflop, low postflop aggression, sometimes prone to tilt losing the plot. I've stacked him in the previous five minutes deepish cos flop sets ip get paid when he bet-bet-bet-called off his stack over 3 streets

sb seems like he could be the best player I've encountered at 50nl or 25nl. Or maybe that's just sample. Ukrainian. Aggro. Small sample, but it seems he likes to put chips in and put opponents in difficult spots both pre and postflop. He's smashed me for 1/2 of a buyin in ridiculous non-showdown spots across a few tables this session including a 4b pot my bu vs his blind where he min c-raised me then folded when i clicked it back on 772

    $0.10/$0.25

    Stacks:
    UTG ($39.45) 158bb
    daven (UTG+1) ($32.84) 131bb
    MP1 ($10) 40bb
    MP2 ($32.62) 130bb
    CO ($18.62) 74bb
    BTN ($21.50) 86bb
    SB ($64.53) 258bb
    BB ($11.46) 46bb

    Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 8 players) daven is UTG+1
1 fold, daven raises to $0.85, 2 folds, CO calls $0.85, 1 fold, SB raises to $3.25, 1 fold, daven calls $2.40,

To me villain seems like a player you may need to have a balanced range here. I'd probably just 4bet.

Fair enough to me. Although I might try a small 4 bet to re-open the preflop action.
But I would certainly only let him make one more bluff and then wrap it up on the flop, before he has the chance to catch up.

    Oh dear, don't do this.

I'd 4bet here but in the future definitely flat occasionally and then flat down on pretty much any board/raise boards where you don't rep anything and he thinks he has redraw equity with 2 overs (like T73r)

I think that calling pre-flop is fine. I could see an argument for never 4-betting pre-flop in this spot to combine trying to keep CO in the hand and to play a lot of hands in position against the SB who seems like he wants to be Mr. Fancypants.

    gold,
anyway, i got about as lucky as possible here cos CO lost the plot and SB coveted all the dead money

Ah yes, the ol' cold call/4-bet.

The more likely I think SB is to play at me on the flop, the more likely I am to call pre- so as to let him. The CO being in the hand does affect matters somewhat, but I'd be more focused on trying to extract from the aggro SB than on him.
