    Default AA Line.

    Sweating someone at 4nl.
55/1 over ~200 hands or so. Quite loose post flop but not particularly aggressive. 200bb effective stacks.
He does his standard limp UTG and we have AA UTG+1
    Villain calls 0.4
    Hero raises to 0.16
    All others fold
    Villain calls.
    Flop: 885 - check call of 0.24
Off suit 10 on the turn. Villain checks the turn.
I advised hero to check it back and let him bet his missed draws on the river. (B/F is OK too)
Unfortunately, Skype lagged out an he ended up bet/jamming and Villain called.
    How good/bad is this line?

checking back this turn against a passive fish who probably calls with any pair, or any draw with 4+ outs is a pretty terrible play in my opinion.

But isn t he calling with any pair on the river and I assumed he would fire with a missed draw so we save when we're against a big hand?

sorry i misread the post and thought you advised to check the turn. i'm still not sure which line you are advocating to be honest. but i'd be going for three streets against this guy for sure. he calls with way too many worse hands to ever check back a street in this hand.

OK thanks for your input. I was wondering which line YOU would take As played the guy I was sweating bet the turn got raised and got it in and I was wondering how good/bad you think this is? (I said definitely fold now )

how i would react to a turn C/R would depend on what size the fish made it. i'd respond pretty cautiously though. passive fishy players like this guy are rarely going to C/R the turn without a hand they consider the nuts imo. that's why bet/folding works so well against these players - they call wayyy too much and only raise hands they think are the nuts. so we can value town the shit out of them and feel comfortably folding all but the very top of our range when they all of a sudden wake up and start betting/raising

At the bar drinking whisky with an "e"
On a side note, a 55/1 who limps utg is just as likely to call a 5 or 6x raise pre as 4x, exploit this.
