Hate preflop, just flat vs this guy especially when a bit deeper, and 3 bet a wide value range of hands that dominate his continuing range.

Post flop seems fine, defo shut down on blank rivers since too much of his range is Ax that's never folding after he calls the turn.

after you have 3bet pre (i'd probably fold as i don't feel i can play 98s OOP vs an aggressive opponent with no solid reads on his postflop tendencies, even though it flops decently), everything looks fine.

and i agree with carroters about never attempting to bluff bricked rivers once he has called the turn. his range is almost all Ax and once he calls the turn i doubt he folds much on the river, if at all.

Hell no, he's a fish, we have no idea if he's floating this c-bet lightly so heprobably just b/cs a shitload of Ax and better on the turen and checks other stuff behind.

@RPM: I think vs a fish and given we're a little bit deep we can profitably play this hand oop, he'll just make so many mistakes and our hand flops fine.

Well I guess he doesn't have to be a fish but it does look like it so far. I'd defo be confident assuming he's probably a weaker player.

yeh don't like preflop.. I want to do this vs villains where better fold equity exists post flop. I want to be able to steal the pot on the flop or take this guy to the bank with a solid hand because he cant fold an ace. I like double barrel as I feel a bit like its spew to not bet there having picked up equity. But again, I'd rather be doing it against a tighter player. I rarely get aggressive beyond the flop OOP vs a guy with stats like that without a solid hand, then again, these type of situations are the ones i suck at.

agree with carrots that its safe to assume he's a weak player, and I like to flat a much wider range against these guys because they tend to be pretty transparent post flop and pay off with some really junky hands. never looking to bluff/semi-bluff-shove vs this guy, but definately can take a lot of smaller pots off him on the flop. I had a guy with similar stats a few nights ago who's strategy was bet 2bb on all flops where he has air. I probably won half his stack raising his flop bets with junk hands. The turn call here likely says 1 pair aces, which he's almost never going to fold so shut down river without the hit.

i like what you've put forward as a potential 3bet range but solidly believe that i dont have a clue and would like to see responses from others.

I like the 3bet range that you entered. Against a loose button, I might even add some of the stronger suited Q's.
The flop and turn look decent, and I'd shut down on the river for the reasons already mentioned.

That's a start. Really depends on exactly how he plays. But make sure to 3bet large than what you did especially when deep.

    Agree with carroters' response
