Thoughts on EP stats? UTG should be a winner, no? Or is sample size too small?

Not going to argue hard for/against anything as you are obviously way way way more skilled than I am. With that out of the way, perhaps you could tighten up a notch in EP?

I made a lot from the button, but I can't really know for sure how well my blind stealing goes. Its seems to go fairly well, though.

I am not sure what you mean. I open with AA/KK/QQ 100% of the time, and my standard raise is 3.5bb+ 1 per limper.

I don't know. Sample size is small obviously, but I am thinking about maybe pitching 22-55 utg for a while and seeing how that goes.

But giving up the chance to flop a set seems like a poor trade-off.

Your stats EP/MP stats seem pretty similar to each other. Some have suggested tightening up EP, might not be a bad idea.

How about limping behind on the button with more junk and stealing orphan pots post flop?

Instead of folding 22-55 utg, maybe alternate randomly between raising and limping utg with it? Re-raises might be putting you in a tough spot with these hands post flop.

If you want to see how much you've made blind stealing, then go to "Filters" (located straight across from the Known Starting Hands text), and then under "Chance to Steal Blinds", click "Chance to Steal and Raised."

Anything positive is great, a 30+BB/100 rate is considered fairly solid.

Yeah things are much more aggressive up at your level. There are a lot more unraised pots down at 25nl.

I have stated before I think things are loosening up a lot in online poker this week. College students have a lot of time on their hands right now, and a lot are learning poker for the first time/arent that experienced/rusty. Overall at my limits things were a lot more aggressive preflop today and yesterday during peak hours. There also seemed to be a lot more calling stations. Are you seeing this phenomenon as well?

So in response I think you may need to occassionally limp/call preflop with small pp's in EP. Players will still pay off your sets with their overpair. But it may cost only 3bb preflop rather than having to call a reraise of 8 bb. Worse yet you are going to be oop all hand. I am also finding that cbets arent as effective in the looser tables. I set off a couple of avalanches of pfr-reraise-reraise-AI today when I raised my small pp's in EP.

All things you already know, I am just trying to stimulate some growth in your game. It is at a great level, with a solid winrate. But your stats seem to show you are pretty set in your ways. Occasionally switching things up may not be a bad idea.

One move I have tried in the past, was to limp AKo. Its not something I ever do, but switched it up this one time. I was thinking the table was pretty loose/donkish and I could call someone's pfr in MP that has AQ, or even AJ. Well thats exactly what happened, and I took their stack on the turn when an A hit the flop. What I'm saying is I think its OK to experiment/deviate from your current plan UTG every once in a while. But make sure you are thinking about what and why you are doing it. Any time you are doing extra thinking is going to be +ev. You have seen so many hands in your poker lifetime that your subconscious will fill in a lot. All you have to do is stimulate it with a new scenario, and extra thinking every once in a while.

Do you get frustrated if you ever have to play passively? I wonder if there's a slight over-aggression to your game which is great 90% of the time but misses value and opportunities on other occasions.

haha i love the start of that graph,up about 150 bucks and then you drop 400 or so before you start winning again...ever wonder what would of happened if your aces would have gotten cracked at first and you dropped 150 bucks to start out with...might not be playing today.

my positional stats are looking a little bit like yours (since ive started using your PF strategy..i was 12 /2 ..now im 14/8..and position by position look eerily similiar to your stats .) ....your AF postflop makes me look like a little bitch tho =/.....
