Default 2nl - 2 pair, possible flush completes on river

Less than 10 hands against the villain, so far he hasn't done anything noteworthy.
I considered folding pre, but decided to raise because 1 player behind me was sitting out and another had posted a BB out of turn.
I wonder if it's better to b/f or c/c this river. There are a lot of better hands in his range but still some that are worse that would call.

    Hero (UTG+1) ($2.89)
    MP1 ($2.49)
    MP2 ($2)
    MP3 ($2.92)
    CO ($2.57)
    Button ($2.08)
    SB ($3.27)
    BB ($0.61)
    UTG ($1.55)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 6, A
    1 fold, Hero bets $0.08, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.08, 4 folds

    Flop: ($0.21) 6, J, 8 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.13, MP3 calls $0.13

    Turn: ($0.47) A (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.32, MP3 calls $0.32

    River: ($1.11) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $0.66, Hero?

You're ahead of worse two pair, missed OESD and bluff, you have a monster, can't fold that for almost 3x1, and still bet|fold seems better
If things were to magically revert to January 1st, 2003, only I could take everything I know now in terms of poker ability/knowledge, bonus clearing, etc., I think it's safe to say that it would be trivially easy to make over a million dollars.

fold pre, bigger on turn, bet-fold river
check-fold isn't absolutely terrible if you had more than 10 hands and a read that villain isn't stupid given that both flushes and straights completed on the river

Fold pre. 2 cents more in the pot from someone posting (who probably has position on you) isn't nearly enough reason to get frisky with a pretty modest hand from EP.

Pre is just about okay as long as the players behind are nitty (doubtful @2nl, and if they are, you should probably move tables).

    Flop sizing seems okay.
Turn needs to be bigger for value slash protection.

River is ugly. I'd be more inclined to c/f if villain snap called flop and turn, but prefer b/f otherwise - we don't want villain checking behind hands with showdown value that would call a river bet. River sizing for b/f is tricky - third pot maybe?

I think as soon as that Ace hit the turn I would have been more aggressive and pushed the pot or 2x the pot, at that point you have the best hand unless by some freak chance he has you beat with AJ or A8, but with that turn take down the pot and don't take chances on the river, if he calls with flush or straight shot, and gets it so be it.... But it hurts worst to see it play out imo.... I'd be more aggressive in that situation.
