Default 25NL: KQ OOP - Is this river call ok?

Villain is playing what seems like a solid thinking game but is 3 betting late position opens totally relentlessly both when I open the cutoff and the button. We are about 100 hands in and his 3 bet % is 30% but despite the small sample I know he is 3 betting very light. I dont recall going to showdown with him prior to this pot though. I had been folding or 4 betting or on the odd occassion we saw a flop it hadnt gone further...

So Im pretty confident in my hand on the flop but his range is probably quite polarised so I think check calling is reaonable to get him to fire his bluffs and not to inflate the pot when he does actually have a value hand which probably will beat me?

When he checks behind and then fires the river I am never folding. But my question is should I raise? My feeling was his value range at this point was pretty much only QQ and TJ given the check on the river. Anyone see him betting a hand like AQ often enough here for me to be raising the river given how the hand played? AK seems unlikely based on turn...?

Am I overthinking this or thinking incorrectly at any point? All comments positive and negative welcome! If the hand is totally standard say that to but Im just trying to make sure Im not misisng river value spots....

    Pre-flop: ($0.35, 5 players) Hero is CO
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN raises to $2.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.75

    Flop: ($5.35, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.25, Hero calls $3.25

    Turn: ($11.85, 2 players)
    Hero checks, BTN checks

    River: ($11.85, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $7.50, Hero calls $7.50

this is totally fine, even if he had like AK this hand that doesn't mean he would call a raise
and I don't see him having better unless he luckboxed QQ

I think flop and turn are ok but when we make two pair on the river against this opp I'm not sure why we're check calling? I think I just bet, somewhere in the region of $10?

I fold preflop even if I'm getting 3bet a lot , I'll also probably switch tables since I don't see the point of staying on a table with a good player who 3bets me a lot...

postflop though I think you played well though

Very true.... I dont think I do that enough. This was a prime example of a spot where I should probably have moved rather than resorting to playing these somewhat marginal spots oop.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I think you played this fine until the river. I doubt I would have checked in this spot unless it was to induce a bet so I could check/raise the villain. I'm definitely raising here - probably just to $15 though and hope he calls.

I think i would have came out betting on flop and seen what he did, if he called then i would have put him on jack's or ten's, and if he raised on the river with that card i might says queens, but more on the lines of ace /queen,

I'm going to show some of you busto microdonks a quick way to analyze this. Let's pretend he has an extremely pessimistic calling range on the river of {AA-QQ, 99, 44, 22, AK, JT}. Then we only have 34.1% equity against this range. Let's pretend it's unlikely that he would play any of the sets this way ever besides QQ, so let's drop KK, 99, 44 and 22. That leaves {AA, QQ, AK, JT}, against which we're still only 45.2%. The point is, it's hard to come up with a reasonable range that we're ahead of when we raise the river and he calls, so it's most likely -EV.

actually now that I looked at it, go ahead and lead the river
you're getting raised about never (and when you do get raised you're beyond crushed)

but hands like KT or w/e are super psyched to just check it back and take a free showdown
    don't let them

Bet river to get value from JJ/TTish stuff too.

My only concern with betting the river was that I was a little worried it would look bluffy and potentially induce a counter bluff which would be quite difficult to call. Im probably overestimating villains ability though. Definitely he would call with JJ type hands...

why would it look bluffy, your hand looks like what you have exactly or AK which he shouldn't expect you to fold
