Villain is playing what seems like a solid thinking game but is 3 betting late position opens totally relentlessly both when I open the cutoff and the button. We are about 100 hands in and his 3 bet % is 30% but despite the small sample I know he is 3 betting very light. I dont recall going to showdown with him prior to this pot though. I had been folding or 4 betting or on the odd occassion we saw a flop it hadnt gone further...
So Im pretty confident in my hand on the flop but his range is probably quite polarised so I think check calling is reaonable to get him to fire his bluffs and not to inflate the pot when he does actually have a value hand which probably will beat me?
When he checks behind and then fires the river I am never folding. But my question is should I raise? My feeling was his value range at this point was pretty much only QQ and TJ given the check on the river. Anyone see him betting a hand like AQ often enough here for me to be raising the river given how the hand played? AK seems unlikely based on turn...?
Am I overthinking this or thinking incorrectly at any point? All comments positive and negative welcome! If the hand is totally standard say that to but Im just trying to make sure Im not misisng river value spots....
