    Default 25nl kings x2

here are two pocket kings hands where i was faced with aggression and was unsure about my best course of action.

in this one, villain is 19/16/4 (VP/PFR/3b) and has folded to 2/2 CB's. no notes at this stage. plan once this card fell was to B/F but then i started thinking about whether anyone but fish actually raise trips here? (and remembered how often i just near-min-raise this turn card vs robot regs who B/F everything here but a J)

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($37.62)
    Button ($37.69)
    SB ($31.22)
    BB ($30.20)
    UTG ($25)
    Hero (MP) ($41.17)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, K
    1 fold, Hero bets $0.75, 1 fold, Button calls $0.75, 2 folds

    Flop: ($1.85) 6, J, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, Button calls $1.20

    Turn: ($4.25) J (2 players)
Hero bets $2.75, Button raises to $7.25, Hero?

here, villain is 22/19/13 (VP/PFR/3b) over 119. has folded to 2/2 CB's. earlier in my sample (which is all from this session) this villain and most of the table were playing really nitty and i'd been stealing a lot of pots pre and on the flop. he has since definitely wisened up and has started fucking with me a bit preflop. no real postflop confrontations yet though.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K
Hero bets $0.75, MP calls $0.75, 3 folds

    Flop: ($1.85) 6, 7, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, MP raises to $3.75, Hero calls $2.55

    Turn: ($9.35) 8 (2 players)

    Still on that feckin' island!
    Are ya right there, Bernard?

In H2 - doesn't the flop texture and his bet scream out "ah jes' dun hit me a SET!"?

He puts you on overcards/overpairs; How aggro has he been postflop so far?

H1 - I thought it seemed like an easy fold initially, don't know what to do since he's so polarized here but people don't bluff much at micros.

H2 - Calling down unless he insta shoves the river.

H1 is a pretty easy fold for me but H2 is different. Problem is, of course, that if we call the turn, we're gonna have to call the river unless he overbets. Do I want to call two streets with kings here? Not really. Can I make the fold? Dunno. Looks like a set to me but then again maybe he's fucking with us... depends how I feel at the time, I can talk myself into calling down or folding turn.

Hand1 is completely up to you and how you feel he's been playing so it's really hard to comment.

Hand2 could be flop 3b, you think he doesn't flat 77/66 in this position, call, you think he flats these but has lots of bluffs and possibly is spazzing TT or something, or fold you think he's cold calling PPs but never spazzing and wouldn't have enough fds OR wouldn't raise fds IP. You didn't give us real pre-flop reads for these positions so I'm really clueless. I'd probably just muck v someone with a low flop raise % even over this small sample because overpairs just aren't that good at micros when facing a raise OOP.

Didn't even realize we seen a turn. As played this is why I fold flop. If you are calling flop you HAVE to know what to do on the turn. Villain is NEVER shutting down after raising flop so now you have to call.

edit: If you aren't calling the turn then why the fuck did you call the flop?

H1- depends how you look at it. On one hand you've been stealing alot so your range looks weak on that turn card, I expect villian to bluff raise FD with over(s) here. I call turn. Pot will be 18 and change on river, I check call any non-diamond, non ace river for 3/5 or less. If he has a Jack take note.

H2- this does look like a set but could also be a combo draw of somekind, gs +fd, oesd +FD, 2overs +FD, A9+FD, he will have alot of non-made hands in his range. Could asking have a set. I think 3bet floor to like 7.50 and fold to shove, or just fold as our equity vs. A range of sets, combo draws, or possibly a overpair we crush,99-QQ. I don't think we have enuff to stack off here. I'm on my phone so I can't stove it but I think were behind that range as a whole slightly.
