Why did you raise the flop?
I feel very relieved that this is Fnord's response. This is what I thought word-for-word and totally wimped out of saying it.
I wouldn't worry about balance in this spot live. I mean, I guess if you have a shitty memory or are otherwise bad at keeping track of (and exploiting) meta then you're just better off playing unexploitably, but when you're playing 30 hands an hour, single-tabling, seeing every player face-to-face, then you should be able to know what other people's impressions are of different plays. In any spot that's good to bluff, you should make your first one a bluff. Then you should start running that line with a wide, balanced range.
This is the same philosophy I use with 3b'ing against the rare live player that it's good to 3b light against, btw. Build an image for 3b'ing wide before you start concerning yourself with building a good range.
In a spot as common as cbets and isos, though, you have to be a bit more range-conscious from the get-go.
