Home game tournament.

I'm in the big blind and my stack is 12 big blinds. There are 7 of us at the table.

UTG limps.
MP limps.
SB calls.
I look down and see JJ. A typical raise is 4 or 5 big blinds but I figure if I put 1/3rd or more of my stack in pre-flop then I might as well go all in.

I shove.
UTG calls.
MP folds.
SB folds.

UTG shows 97.

My jacks hold up and I double up.

It's good to remember hands like this when our cards hold up instead of remembering the beats when they don't.

I'm thankful that my home game has players bad enough to limp-call like this when they're dominated.
