I think you played it well.
I'd put him on a ATo+ hands or JT, QT, KT, TT.
So let's say he has one of the suggested hands. He hit a pair, or 2 pair, or even flopped trips so he called your 3/4 pot size bet trying to pull you into the hand and extract the money from you.
You hit the nuts on the turn, so he, thinking you might be on a draw, or allready finished drawing bets the turn.
Your raise is pretty good, you don't want him to catch some wild full house on the river. Or, in the villains eyes your raise might look like you're trying to steal the pot with no hand. Anyway, the raise is good and can leave the villain in doubt, which is good for you.
