They stocked Commerce Lake today.
Just got home from a 90 minute session at Commerce. Again, I got there around 3:30pm and found six, no-limit tables open. Three $100 buy-in and three $200 buy-in. My brother and I played on the $100 table after about a ten minute wait. There were three big fish on the table playing no fold'em hold'em, having to see every flop and two others playing crap every other hand. The best was when I had two callers after a pre-flop raise of $30 holding AA. That same hand, I ended heads up against one player calling my $100 raises. Yes, that's raises, plural. Turns out he paired with a Q on the board and had a J kicker. Pot taken down by Big J was well over $400. I'm still trying to figure out why he called the $30 preflop with QJo. Ended up costing him over $200. Little Bro also had no problems taking down some substantial pots. FlopTurnRiver works for me and Hooked on Phonics isn't too bad either.
Summary: Little Bro wins $220, Big J Money wins $350.
Also, I find playing low stakes, no-imit at Commerce is best around 3-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Multiple tables open, 2-4 fish on the table and the wait list are not very long.
