    Default Snowmen facing loose/passive check/raise heads-up

$5/$10 NLHE $800 effective stack size.

Hero's image is TAggy. He's taken down quite a few pots without showdown including from his opponent in this hand.

BB is semi-loose/passive. Does not like to play big pots without big hands. Bought in for 1k and has been bleeding them off. We've already taken a couple pots off of him.

    1 Limper
Hero raises from HJ to $50.
    BB calls.
Limper folds his piece of cheese.

    ~$110 in the pot heads-up
    :Jh:
    BB checks
    Hero bets $75
BB straightens up, grabs two stacks, looks us straight in the face and appears to bet $200. But one of his stacks is short a couple chips, so the bet is $190 when the dealer counts it.

What's our plan for the rest of the hand?

mxiu, wait for others to chime in before you give the correct answer.

I would put villian on a set, people love calling with little pocket pairs...my second read would be in the range of Q/J or K/J

orrrrrrrr could be on the nut flush draw!

I would fold here and hate life as you always say My money would go in later with a better hand.

turn our hand into a slowplay imo

let him barrel again, his ego can't take it anymore.

Are we calling down or taking it away on the turn? If he's in spew mode a turn bet could easily commit him.

I think there is a lot of value to be gained from a call and then getting it in on the turn pending reads/turn card.

This isn't the ideal way to win money from semi-loose/passive/timid players. Making hands in Hold'em is hard. Getting people to put in money bad second best and not suck back out is harder.

    Consider his range of hands:

    Likely (given a strong=weak read):
    Bluff - Folds to shove
Jx/TT/99 - Usually folds to shove, sometimes calls me down. Raised to "see where he's at" to avoid putting in a lot of money bad. If he calls I have 2 outs.
Draws - Usually calls. 88 has good equity.
Pairs worse than 88 - LoL if he calls

Less Likely (we read him wrong):
Bottom 2: Fair amount of suck-out equity
Set - Usually have 2 outs
    J4, J5 - Heavily discounted, see set.
    AA/KK/QQ - Opps, see set.

Finally consider that if he folds to our shove we either have a table image of being crazy aggro or running good. Either way, it will keep our opponents in line and add value to lots of routine isolation and c-bet lines for the next couple hours.

$375 in the pot. Shove costs us ~$675 more. Figure we have ~25%ish equity against his weighted calling range (lots of draws.) If he folds 50% of the time we show a profit.

cant call, you get destroyed on so many turns and a jack feels a lot better about themselves.

fold or shove, leaning towards a shove. folding seems kinda weak given the opp, and stack sizes are just about right to shove.

i probably fold in the heat of the moment without any history. This really depends on your read on the player, their tendencies and weaknesses.
