    Default For the results oriented

Even though its stressed so much here to not be results oriented, you still see tons of threads asking "Did I play this right?" where their opponent calls with nothing and runner runners a flush. Or the threads where people just complain about others sucking out on them and how the Poker Stars staff has it out for them personally. I think it was soupie who said "Celebrate your bad beats" The more bad beats you have, the better poker you are playing. You can control only 4 things: betting, folding, calling, and raising. The rest is up to the poker gods. Anyway, here is a good article about this type of thing :

I'm not saying I dont get frustrated when I get bad beats, but if you start ignoring the results and only think about your play, poker can be a lot more enjoyable and successful
