Prohibitive rake structure?

    Default Prohibitive rake structure?

I was looking around for live cash games in cities where I have friends (reads: I live in one of the most isolated rural areas in the UK), and I found a game that looked good for my bankroll: £0.50/0.50 NL, buyin £20-100.

However, the rake in this game is 10% up to £5 (no time charge).

How difficult would it be for a solid player to come out with a profit in this game, considering the rake structure? Any estimates as to what PTBB/100 I'd need to clear to breakeven?

    Thx

10% up to 10BBs per pot? No thanks. Unless it's a total donkathon I don't think even a pretty great player would come out ahead in that structure.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
