    Default pineapple turbo ladder

Is anyone interested in a pineapple turbo ladder? I'm thinking we could keep it around for as long as we want unlike other tournaments and leagues that have ending dates.

The turbo format is the 1 minute timer which means less waiting and more action!

We could come up with the preliminary places on the ladder by playing GlassJoeBot.

We have 5 players. I'm thinking we can start this when we have 1 more. At that point I'll make 6 tables (1 for each of us to play baldbullbot). We can then post the results/scores and come up with the starting spots.

Rather than updating the opening post in this thread over and over again, I'm thinking the winner of each match can just write the new ladder standings.

    For example, suppose we're at
    a
    b
    c
    d
    e
    f

c challenges b and beats him. c then posts the score/link along with the new ladder:

c beats b by 17: match result link

    new ladder:
    a
    c
    b
    d
    e
    f

Cool, we have 6 people. I'll set it up. I'm thinking more people can join after the 6 of us but they start at the bottom instead of playing BaldBullBot to start.

Also, I'm thinking we should start by just challenging people directly above us.

    We'll have 50 hand matches.

We'll start by playing BaldBullBot below:

    (password follows url)
    Eric: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12747 table
    tedium: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12748 chair
    Keybored: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12749 rug
    givememyleg: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12750 fork
    GratefulDead: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12751 spoon
    durki000: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/join.php?12754 knife

If people take too long to play BaldBullBot and post results then we'll just start them at the bottom of the ladder.

Playing my match against the bot now. Holy shit this is fast and fun!

    Angry Fast n Furious

Yikes...Just finished a grueling 50 rounder with Da Bot! A 1-minute clock is nutz to keep up with. Barely managed it with a laptop mousepad; don't recommend doing that BTW. A smart phone probably wouldn't work at all. Hardest part of the whole thing was getting into FL--one minute to set 13 cards is mind blowing! Anyway, only beat the Bot by 70...

    I lost to BlaldBullBot by 72: http://www.flopturnriver.com/ofc-poker/table.php?12747

I need to keep adjusting to this timer - he normally doesn't beat me.

Here's where we're at except for durki:
    gratefuldead
    givememyleg
    tedium
    keybored
    eric
    rewenzlaff

I'm thinking we can start playing each other now. Maybe 1 slot above or below us is too restrictive - let's open it up to 2 slots.

keybored and rewenzlaff, I can play against you this afternoon or tonight - just send me a private message.

Just make your own tables with the 1 minute timer and unlimited hands/rounds but stop after 50 (unless someone is in fl).

Let's keep this fluid. Remember, the winner of each match should post the result and the new ladder rankings.

Also, we shouldn't have any trouble posting results. The key thing to remember is the 5 digit table number at the end of the url. The rest of the link is always the same.

Woops, you're right about your spot but wrong about mine (only my first match against the bot counts, not the 2nd one that I did for fun).

    Guys,

It will be easier to setup games if we all have each other's emails and mobile numbers. Please hit me up at esprague at gmail dot com with your mobile numbers.

    Thanks,
    Eric
