That's it for now, thanks again folk.

If you look on the left hand side of the screen. There's a link to a "hand converter" please learn and love the hand converter. I'll be much more likely to give you feedback on your hands.

    Welcome to the fourms.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

Hand 1: Yes you can fold. You don't have a flush, and you can be up against AQ (with his A possibly being the club). If the flop had come 1 club, and runner-runner clubs came, I might not be as inclined to fold-but his turn aggression sorta tells you your beaten.

Hand 2: Not sure why you raise preflop there-MAYBE if you're suited. I might fire one more time on the turn-after that I'm check/folding.

Hand 3: Without a read, if someone comes out firing on both the turn and river there, you can't figure 3rd pair is good.

Hand 4: If you're going to make a move, do it on the flop, then lead out on the turn-then check it down.

Hand 5: I'm not really sure why you call a third flop bet. You try to make a move, he fires back-you don't have anything. Whether or not you were ahead is irrelevant-without any other read on the guy, you don't have any way of knowing you're ahead-and without any more than a gutshot draw on the turn against his range, I can't fathom going past a missed flop.

    hand converter is your friend.

Hand 1 - you aren't doing yourself any favours raising kqo UTG, unless it is a very tight table. That said, the raise on the flush card is a sign - get out.

Hand 2 - why play this hand at all, never mind raise it. If you are raising A9o in early position you will be losing money. Maybe suited, maybe on some tables. Once played, I don't bother c-betting into that many opponents - someone has a pair- though I might have thrown out a bet on the river after the turn was checked through.

Hand 3 - Is this CANES guy playing every hand? Raising 99 can be a good play, but not if you have a table full of passive callers. And betting out with 2 overcards on the flop is risky. You need to take notes on this opponent - he is either tricky or an idiot, and the difference is crucial.

Hand 4 - Fold preflop. Raising QJo utg is spewy and will cost you chips. Fold turn - raising is insane IMO, without a very specific read. This guy is ahead of you, has been since the beginning, and you aren't improving. Unless you are very sure he is going to fold, you are spewing chips.

Hand 5 - you are out of position, 3betting an UTG raise with an offsuit hand. Call, definitely, but 3betting is asking to be capped while you are most likely behind. You have at best 4 outs on the flop, 7 on the turn. Fold this hand on the flop. And why oh why would you call down with ace high on the river? His results tell me you need to note what he is playing, and get to his left next time you see him - he will cost you money sitting on your immediate right. And don't bother trying to steal blinds from him unless you are ready to out-aggro a maniac and then lose to a hand like this.

Overall, you are aggressive, which is good, but your raising range is far too wide to be profitable over the long run. And you need to let go of hands when you miss.

h1: call, if he has air here 17% of the time you're fine
arborman: this is 6max, kqo is a monster
    h2: fold preflop
    h3: check the flop
    h4: fold the flop
h5: don't check raise the flop, you didn't hit a pair

    1) If he's that passive what do you think he's donking the turn with here? At best a big club and at worst a flush and you are drawing dead. Most likely the latter. I don't mind calling the turn but I am never calling this river vs. a passive opponent. Expect to lose 95% of the time.

    2) Looks ok to me. I like raising the limper and cold caller could have anything. Flop c-bet is standard on this board imo and shutting down after that UI is also standard.

    3) Not a fan of this flop c-bet though. You're never folding a better hand besides maybe JJ/TT and with three opponents that board almost always hits someone. Even if it doesn't you can't be confident enough to get full value out of your hand. I just check the flop and hope it checks through. If anyone bets, I'm probably done with this hand.

    4) open-raising this UTG is spew imo. Fold the flop. You have nothing.

    5) I don't understand the flop play. Why are you 3betting air? Once you're raised just call down if you think he's FOS. You can't justify your play based on what happens after (i.e., when he shows his cards).

All told, 3, 4 and 5 look pretty spewy. This is .25/.50 so you don't need to be making plays all over the place. Just bet your good hands and fold your bad hands. Your opponents will make enough mistakes to let you profit from just playing ABC solid poker.
