Default mid trips vs bottom flush on 3rd pineaple draw

    How do you set this?

Against a FL hand I always assume opp will get at least a high flush or boat most every time. That said, even your Q-high boat prob won't hold up. Two low pairs (4's & 2's) prob won't hold up either. Trips mid would be best, IMO. With only 5 clubs showing, you can prob catch one more on the last draw. So, I'd have set Q on bottom and 2 mid...

    Cool, I think that's what I did.

Setting the Q4 low locks in 4 points for the flush in back and makes the hand virtually foulproof, but also makes it very unlikely that you will significantly improve on the last draw since there are only 5 outs for the mid and 6 for the top and you need to hit both. Also, since opp is in FL, you may get scooped anyway since the q-high flush isn't all that strong against an FL hand.

If you set the 2 mid and Q low, you risk fouling if you don't catch one of the 7 remaining clubs, but if you do, you make 2 more in royalties for trips in the mid, and you have the same 6 outs to make royalties on top. I'd take this route although it does foul fairly often.

Yeah, it's true that we want to be more aggressive when our opponent is in fl. It is hard to tell whether this is the spot for that aggression or not.
