(The purple numbers represent the winner's score at the end of the match. They have no bearing on the tournament bracket, I added them as a curiosity.)

Round 2 passwords have been sent. (harring_sean will receive his soon... problem with PMs again.)

The quarterfinal round will last until Saturday, November 2.

As I have not received an answer to the PM's which this mod requested I take the current conversation to, it's a forfeit and gg.

I'm sorry. Your PMs have inspired a flurry of email activity up to the highest levels of FTR. This forum is run by people who are all over the world and email chains can take some time to develop.

Please be patient with us while we figure out the best solution to this grievance. We have heard you and we are diligently working to resolve this issue in a way that is best for all of FTR and sets a good precedent for the future of FTR.

I take personal responsibility for not responding to YOU via PM when I received your message. I immediately passed it along, but I didn't reply. This is because the issue is bigger than me, and I don't want to come across as the ersatz negotiator. I have sent out the PM to harring_sean with the password.

Please note that the quarterfinals will last through the end of Saturday, with the semifinals starting on Sunday. If the delay getting the password to harring_sean caused a scheduling problem, please post ITT or send me a PM ASAP.

I'm having a minor delay creating the semi-final tables. PM's with passwords will be sent out as soon as I can resolve these issues.

I think the timed versions are now live. Should we use the timer for future rounds?

We're working on a permanent solution to the issue with PMs... until then, you can use this thread to schedule your games.

I don't see ANY open tables.

If you guys create a table and play the 20 rounds, that's fine. There's really nothing special about the tournament tables other than some conveniences.

If you remember to avoid clicking the "end game" button until the match is over... and that the match is 20 rounds... yada yada about FL and ties, then you should be fine.

After that, just post the link to your match ITT when you're done.

It looks like something strange is happening. I don't see the 'open games' in the lobby, so I'm guessing this is why the tournament games have not happened yet.

I've emailed the programmer to see if he's seeing what I'm seeing. Hopefully this will all be resolved soon.

I'd really hate to disqualify you. It would make for 2 bye's in a row for agnes, who is my fiancee'. It looks pretty bad when the tournament organizer has a 'friend' who gets to advance twice without a match.
