Default Filter for continuation bet spewing

    Blind status not a blind

    Preflop raise - Any Raise

    Action on flop Bet

showdown Folded to river bet / Folded before showdown ( Try both )

Would this take care of it you think?

I think I am completely spewing after I do not hit the flop and I am trying to tame that beast.

Sorry I wasnt clear, this would be filtering options in pokertracker. Doesnt anyone ever filter for leaks?

The problem is this doesn't take into consideration the fact that you often get people to fold with continuation bets or pick up top pair on the turn/river. If you only look at the hands that you lose with continuation bets of course it looks like a major leak

Yeah I think if you switched this to "saw showdown" you'd get a bigger picture.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.

This is the most important, and the first thing I thought of. If you are only looking at hands you folded on the river you will have a whole bunch of hands that you lost a lot of money on, without looking at the ones you actually won.

Also, against observant opponents you need to play consistently after a preflop raise to prevent yourself from being transparent. If you are for example only betting top pair or better after a PFR, your opponent will always know where he is at, and be able to play perfectly against you post flop. This means sometimes you will bet and wind up folding on later streets.

To filter for continuation bets you would have to just filter

    blind status: doesn't matter
    preflop action: raise
    flop action: bet

Then look through those hands (especially the ones in red) for any leaks that you may have.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
