    Default Donking off, halp plz

I moved up to $1/$2 and donked off 110BB
some of it was poor play

I have made half of it back in $0.50/$1 6max, though

wondering how to hAlp you. 2k sample, and i dont see any tangible evidence other than stats.

if you just wanted sympathy, here....

j/k, but, seriously, post some HHs from that session.

100BB swings are so normal/standard in short-handed LHE they're not even worth talking about until you get to like 250BB+ downswings.

I am asking if I'm playing too tight or something
Normally I'm a full ring player of course

Or if I'm too tight in the blinds or whatever

you know that tightness and looseness is a "style" thing. where you fall is kind of up to you. like spenda, miller, et all have said, "preflop is not your concern in LHE. post flop is where you punish and get punished."

you are experienced enough, from what i read, that you have a feel for it yourself. if you feel you are playing well, but just on a cooler, then you may be right.

but, to answer your question...i think, for 6max, 30% is still not "too loose." but, dont think you need to run 60/40, either. i shoot for high 20's because i am still working on maxxing value post flop. i tend to give players too much credit for strong hands when they get really aggro on me. and, that is a problem, but not a "tightness" problem. i just tighten up a bit to give myself the confidence to fire back on them and "trust my read" knowing i should be ok most of the time. but, i am working on loosening up a bit more in favorable positions.

Post some hands if u want some halp.

2k is not enough to tell you anything.

I think my VPIP/PFR ran closer to each other, like 28/26 or something, DD has played a lot more than me in the past 6 months so maybe he could shed some light on this subject.

I already posted a hand I don't know why you guys keep telling me to post hands, I'll post hands I have questions on

this time I had a question about my positional/pf play
    I know 2K isn't a lot of hands
but I only have like 800 more at $.50/$1 6-max so I'll play some more and post those

While I do agree that post-flop is where all the money is made, playing too tight pre-flop in 6-max could be losing too much value

Nothing to do with style, more to do with adjusting to your opponents

25/18 VPIP/PFR is fine. 38% WTSD is fine. Fold SB to steal 80% is fine. Fold BB to steal 65% is fine. Att to steal 39% is fine.

W$SD > 50% is bad, but it could be due to variance since the WTSD of 38% is not too high. The 2.85 AF is a bit high but without knowing the situations in which you may be over-aggressing it's impossible to give advice.

Dont worry too much, I just went through a downswing of 250BB in 2/4 over 3.5k hands
    It happens.
I went back down to 1/2 to regain my confidence and that's it.
Stats look ok, so just grind some more at your normal level and go back up later.
Really, don't worry too much until you have 50k hands under your belt at that level.

i would like to know why a SD # over 50% is bad? i've always read that low 50's is where you want to be.
