Default 7 stud 8 drawing to low

I wanted to post a hand with some thoughts and get some feedback on if I'm thinking poorly or not.

Btw, is linking to a weaktight converted hand better than posting raw?

    weaktight | Hand | 7h8h2c5s - $0.10/$0.20 Ante $0.02 Stud Hi/Lo

3rd street, I dont particularly like the hand, but after bringing it in I figure I have a great price for a not terrible hand.

4th street, not great but I have 4 low cards and whilst 2 sixes out sucks I have some draw potential. Maybe this was a fold here?

5th street, I nearly folded this, but then I thought I still have a shot at a low. On retrospect, with seat 4 still in this was probably a fold again? Seat 8 slowing down made me discount his low chances.

6th street, Great card for me but I don't think I'd raise?

7th street, didn't seem like any reason to do anything except check behind.

Thoughts? On one hand its a pretty poor low, but on the other I didn't think it likely anyone else had one.

I'd consider reraising 3rd after Seat 8 raises because I think anyone who raises a K after 6 people limp is someone I'd like to get HU with and his range is pretty much KKx+. Not that it's likely to get HU but usually people raise good low draws with a 2 door.

After seat 4 folds the only possible better low draw, see you at the river.

    Bet the river.

might bet 5th, bet 6th for sure.

7th street, didn't seem like any reason to do anything except check behind.
restate this? Are you saying you thought one of them would fold?

Opposite, maybe an example where I need to work on my thinking. I obviously don't win high, so betting to take low portion of split seemed wrong, but in retrospect I want to bet because if they both call I still make some more profit with my low?

In spots like this where you have the only low -- possible Seat 8 has you beat but that means he raised with like (A3)K -- you want to stuff in as much money as possible and hope the two guys with high hands keep raising. So you should bet/raise any chance you get on 6th/7th except in rare cases where you'd force the third guy to call two bets cold with an obvious marginal hand.

One of the key concepts of stud (and really, any limit game) is that you cannot afford to miss any +EV bets (there are, of course, exceptions).

+1 to baudib, also in this specific hand, if seat 6 makes a hand that can beat two pair on the river you it just may get capped and you'd be loving it because he's never staying in with a perfect 86.

3rd: ABC play is to fold, you have a pretty terrible hand with basically no chance to scoop and the worst two low cards, reraising as suggesting by Baudib is better then calling IMO, but at this stakes you will rarely get to heads up, so I think you should fold

4th:Fold, you have 26 behind you and you may be facing a raise, calling here is a leak

5th: According to the action on 4th seat 4 calls but we do not see his cards - weird, if seat 4 is still in the hand behind you it is a fold, otherwise call

6th is marginal between raise and a call, I think a call is OK here since OR may reraise and drive seat 8 out

7th is a must bet, you are closing the action and it is almost impossible for seat 8 to have a low hand here
